1. Take this idea.
2. Get rid of current BC options.
3. Add to this idea.
All the feature like currency and places can be editable in this too. If you want to be a game maker you can have more places and less groups, or if you want to be a rich trader like Merely, you could earn more daily robux and have less places. When I say get rid of the current options, I don't mean actually get rid of them, they could be pre-set options. |

The main BC features I want is group space, ability to make a group, and daily robux.
I can already get 5 places, so I wouldn't need extra places.

First of all, just because you only want more places, not all of Roblox does. You can't accurately say that. You just made up a theoretical situation that isn't true.
Let's say your situation happens. Roblox would not lose money, because what Roblox loses per person, they make up in volume.
They would look at what features are most popular, and make those a worse deal to buy. For example, if you only wanted places, it would cost $2 or $3 per month. Buying the whole package would be a better deal but would cost more.

What are you basing that on, gigabic and workteam?
You fail to take into account the fact that many, many more NBC players, who otherwise would NOT buy BC, would pay at least some to the site with this. |

If you look at the repliers to this thread, many are NBC who say they would use this. Those are lost potential revenue.
Here's a scenario illustrating that Roblox would benefit from this.
NBC player: "Builders Club? $6 a month for things I wouldn't even use? I'm not going to buy that."
"Wait, I can customize it? I don't need to pay for all these features I won't use? It's roughly half the price? Sure! I'll get it!"
You fail to account for those who would only buy BC if it were customizable. |

Here's what I mean by making up lost profit in volume.
Let's say you have 10 people. BC costs $6 a month.
In Roblox's ideal world they all buy BC, and Roblox gets $60.
However, Roblox's ideal world is not the real world. More likely 4 people buy BC, and Roblox gets $24.
But, with custom BC, more people would be likely to buy it. Let's say that 8 or 9 people buy BC, but pay an average of $3 or $4. That's anywhere from $24 to $36.
Roblox gets less money per paying customer, but more paying customers. |
