I believe animated ads should be a feature for experienced users who wish to attract more players to their games/groups/ect. It would be like a slide-show really, maybe around 3-10 different pictures (depending on how much the user pays in robux/tix)
It wouldn't be available to all users, there would be too much spam of different things, it would be too hard to moderate. It would be for BC users, not only that, but there would be a fairly high robux fee to unlock it. I suggest around 1500-5000 robux.
Most of the arguments against this feature I have seen involve it being too "laggy", or too tedious to moderate. Well, keep in mind that NBC users see animated off-site ads all the time, it wouldn't be much different. And about moderation, this is why I suggest a fee to unlock it for each ad. The higher the fee, the less amount of people who are willing to upload something inappropriate. |

Honestly, I wouldn't click on the ad even if it was animated. I don't think it would be worth it to the bc person who made it. They'd lose more robux than they'd get from people visiting their games. It would be a cool idea though. |

So not quite animated as such, but a few slides with a second in between?
1500-5000 is too high. 50 base + 50/slide seems about right, though.
However, offsite ads are different as they are not moderated. |

no, it might be too little.
This feature would be meant for users who are actually trying to get front page, or tons of members.
Let me give you an example, on a regular ad, you should spend AT LEAST 20,000 tix (2k robux) if you want SOME results. its a minuscule amount
When I run ads, I usually spend 100,000 tix (10k robux)
Have you seen my W's Top Hat ad last week? I spent 135,000 tix on that one (13k robux)
If you think its too high, it doesn't really affect you as you can still use non animated ads.

But compare that with other robux features (Badges, groups, group stuff, etc) It is very high. After all, you have to pay again to use it. |
