You go to 'Search', then Click the little Drop Down arrow by 'Models' and click 'My Models'.

The only time I see this happen is when I forget to log in. In studio view/toolbars/autojoin , click this to always be prompted to log in.

It usually only works when you are signed in, and are building on your actual game place, rather than File -> New

Log out of ROBLOX, shut it down, and then log back into it. It's worked for me.
