Roblox is designed for PC's, not consoles! Your "all-mighty" PS4 is not powerful enough to run Roblox flawlessly. I have never heard of one's computer, no matter how strong, running Roblox flawlessly, and likely the PS4 isn't going to run as you think it will.
Also, it wouldn't be good to start having to maintain 3 different versions of Roblox. 2 is enough. |

The PS4 might just be able to run LUA.
As for it's power, I never said it could run ROBLOX flawlessly! But it could run ROBLOX so good that it could stay supported until the PS5!
The PS4 could run ROBLOX with graphics quality on 10. With dynamic lighting. With hats, with mega servers, and if ROBLOX had bevels the PS4 could handle those with everything else in the same place as well! The PS4 is so powerful it would have room to SPARE. |

@arronstone, Roblox isn't at all decently optimized for any computer. You will have to tune down settings in order to play more heavy Roblox games. |

Consoles are struggling.
Mobile and PC gaming is growing and giving consoles some competition. With new consoles lacking an abundance of new features people might not feel the need to even buy a PS5 instead of keeping their PS4.

1. People will upgrade, when there are games they can't play.
2. There is already a big enough market for the PS4.
3. The PS3 won't last forever, when someone's PS3 breaks I'm sure they will upgrade.
Mobile and PC gaming is growing, but console gaming isn't dead, it's still a big enough market to make it worth developing ROBLOX on consoles. |

It should be on the PS4! Aaron is right, it would expand players! Also, I can barely play ROBLOX anymore because I go to my dad's house every 2 weeks ONLY ON THE WEEKENDS. At my Mom's, I am getting a PS4. I could play ROBLOX WAY more. And I'd love that! This a wonderful t idea, the mods, ask Sony if you can do this! |

PS4 couldnt support ROBLOX, as the scripting wouldn't help. The players would'nt be able to play builded games. What controls are there? Is there a good balance between the money? HECK NO.
See here, ROBLOX can't be able to support PS4. They already put it on mobile devices such as the Ipod, Iphone, and the Ipad. Would it be able to support the huge bulky console such as the PS4? No. Let me tell you good reasons. Would it be able to support scripting? What we already know about ROBLOX is that the scripting is Lua. Lua is popular but not as popular as Java or Python. PS4 has many cool stuff coming up, yes that is true. But think about this. Imagine ROBLOX on the PS4 console, your dream come true, but many flaws come with the new game. Constantly, the games would be hacked and fallen apart. GUI's wouldn't show up for games. Gun's wouldn't work. Everything would fall and servers would be nothing but blank empty space. People would abandon your once good PS4 idea and return to the mobile devices and PC. Now, the reason I provided for you is long. That means more things to strike your evidence.
The current part and reason I am going to tell you now is about the balance. ROBUX would go where exactly? PS4 doesn't support ROBLOX, that's what the whole idea I am fluently describing you into a sentence. Or shall we say, the main idea. Now, to the point. If someone bought anything from the catalog, it would go to ROBLOX, but it wouldn't. I say money giving wouldn't be good. PS4 wouldn't give the money to ROBLOX, unlike the good PC.
ROBLOX wouldn't be able to support the PS4. BC and ROBLOX cards, wouldn't work as well. Many other major features of ROBLOX wouldn't work. The idea concludes with a bang and a closure. The idea you have posted will never be implemented, as there is too many flaws with the good but false idea. I congrauate you for the good work, but as well, too many flaws. Next time, try to suggest something and on the main post you could elaborate more and describe the details.
No support, because the idea has lots of flaws and many of those flaws are the major features of ROBLOX not working on the PS4.

JaceyJace, I'm glad you were very polite addressing me, but I'm afraid I can defend it rather well.
1. Not all GUI and gear work on iOS, they don't have to on PS4. ROBLOX can set it up so only PS4 designed games would be playable.
2. The PS4 will allow free to play and subscription based models, BC and buying ROBUX could work.
3. Building on the PS4 probably wouldn't work the best, but the PS4 doesn't need build mode. It can just have play mode.
4. I haven't studied up on LUA compatibility, but the PS4 uses a similar architecture, and has some good specs. |

I must say, I do agree with this, even though under no circumstances would I ever even think about getting one, because it would open up more oppertunities (I don't think I spelled that right) for people to play, Roblox gets more players, and everybody wins. And an Xbox One version would make it even better! So I think it should come to PS4. AND Xbox One. |

Also guys, if a very poor iPod/iPhone/iPad can run ROBLOX, a PS4 can run it 5 times better! The PS4 is a greater of faster machine, it can handle ROBLOX just fine!
