Prolouge.
There was a man, with a hooded cloak going through a dark forest, with the trees all around, occaisonaly a bird or animal going through the forest. themselves, and bugs under his feet and every square inch of the forest. He goes up to the biggest tree in the forest. he walks up to it and reveals a badly scarred hand, that has a glowing symbol on it shaped like a skull. he touches the tree and his skull symbol begins to glow. then the tree splits open to reveal an opening. the man walks in and takes his hood off to reveal a badly scarred face, dark hair falling to his shoulders, and his eyes glew the same color as his skull symbol. his mouth was twisted into an evil smile as he withdrew a sword from the depths of the tree and walks out. the sword was jagged on the blade, glowing brightly but looking evil while doing so. the hilt or handle had skulls on it with glowing eyes when he touched it. he let out a chilling cold voice. "The Sword of death, or the Plaugebringer... is finaly mine... the world will finaly bow down to their new master... Tamreiln." then he let out a laugh and he pointed the sword at a rabbit. Then a blast of scarlet red light, a screaming voice... that sounded like a rabbit that learned to speak, then the rabbit was lying on the ground, killed. Tamreiln laughed harder than ever. "I SHALL RULE!!!!!" he yells. and the nearby animals, birds, and even bugs scurry away from him. Tamreil says in a whisper, "This will be the beginning of the end... the dawn of a terrifiyingly greatly dark age..."

Chapter one. Heros.
The scence changes... there is a young man running through a group of people. Many "woah!"s and "hey!"s were flying through the air. the man was being persued by a group of older men, all of whom were chasing the young man. the young man reached a dead end... then he turned around, panting to see the group of thugs behind him. "This is the end for you, little scum." then the young man jumps up, and kicks him in the gut sending him flying into the 2nd thug. the man then brandishes his dagger and attacks the third, bringing him down too. He sheathes the dagger and heads out from the allyway. "Dont steal from those kind of guys again, Lithorox..." He says as a mental note. Then the scence changes again to a younger man sleeping in a bed, sweating, tossing and turning and saying in his sleep, "He has it... he has it..." Then the young man wakes up and walks toward the mirror in his room. the young man of 18 on that mirror, had simple clothes on, a smooth face exept for his wisp of a beard, dark green eyes, and dark hair. He went outside to the tap and splashed water on his face. He then headed into town, shortsword hidden, for emergencys, to his fate withen. this man, Orthodus, and the theif Lithorox, will end up teaming together in fate and killing the person who is going to bring doom to the world. |

Chapter two. The prophecy.
Orthodus is walking through the town, gold and sword in hand to go and barter for food to make the week. He starts to head to the general store in the middle of the village when all of a sudden an old lady grasps him, short and kind of witch-like she says, "A door will close for you and a more eventful one will open... be careful dear. for you are to rid the world of the weed choking it." Orthodus looked stunned and starts stammering "uh... uh-uh o-ok?" and quickly leaves her. he goes to the store and starts buying food and at that same moment, Lithorox comes in without Orthodus noticing and pickpockets him of his money. Orthodus notices a split second later but. Its too late. Lithorox has ran off. "'scuse me sir.. someone stole my money and i have to get it back" Orthodus runs off to follow Lithorox. But then, screaming and yelling comes from the west side of the town and a huge hoard of people running. With them at front is Lithorox and Orthodus forgets the money he stole because he sees the horde of hooded, armed and mounted men attacking the running crowd. The guards of the town starts to attack them but they get stampeded by the raider's horses. Orthodus starts to run too but for some reason he is held in place. MAGIC!!! he thought and tryed to get out of his magical bindings. The raiders are getting closer and for some strange reason, his hand jerks over to the left and aims at a raider, then, a BANG!!!!!! and the raider is sent 10 feet on the ground, sprawling in the dust. Magic?! Orthodus thought again. He aims his hand at another raider and thinks despratly... knock him off knock him off!! and as soon as he thinks Knock him off! another bang, and the 2nd raider has the same fate as the first. Orthodus feels he can run now and runs. A raider jumps off his horse and tackles Orthodus, and Orthodus cant get to his sword but is helplessly flailing while the raider is about to stab him. Then he sees Lithorox knock the raider off and helps him up. Then with a flash of horror, he realises who he just saved but before he can run, Orthodus grabs the stolen money. Then HE runs. He pulls out his sword and goes to the northern garrison, strenghened by the eastern and southern. all the able men and women are there and are making defences.
Orthodus takes a deep breath and says "Just one of those days..." Then he thinks about the old womans prochecy. "A door will close for you and a more eventful one will open... be careful dear. for you are to rid the world of the weed choking it." This must be the door closing. Orthodus thought. Because the village will be no more. all they could do is hold them off enough to keep a few houses up. What Orthodus didnt know is that something very eventfull will happen to him, and change who he is. He doesnt know he will soon be known by the whole world as the savior. |

Chapter 3. the ending of the beginning
The Village garrison was building fortified outposts and defences while small scouts of raiders came over to weaken it. The scouts were quickly dispatced by archers though and the villagers thought that the raiders will have a hard time attacking them. they were covered on 3 sides, natural mountain formation protecting behind them. It was nightfall and they heard the war horn of the raiders, then the "clip clop clip clop" of many mounted raiders coming for a final assult. Mothers held their children, Men drew their swords, and then it happend all of a sudden, a huge explosion knocked Orthodus and some other garrison members back before they drew their swords, Orthodus' ears were ringing and everything was blurry as he saw raiders in big hooded cloaks attacking the garrison. Orthodus gets up and looks at the wall, it is MELTING???
"Magic." Orthodus said, and got up and drew his sword and set forth to slaying a particuarly big raider. Evenly matched but Orthodus was being drawn back step by step. Out of the corners of his eyes he saw buildings burning, men being slain, and more raiders coming in. If this was going to be the cost to defend this village they should retreat Orthodus thought, but they were holed up like frighent mice with a cat pinning them down. No where to run. No where to run but fight to the last man. Then all of a sudden he sees the problem to their exploited defences. a dark wizard. shooting fire and bolts of swirling, killing darkness at everything he sees. Orthodus watches in horror, still battling the raider, as he hits a little kid with a blast of darknes, and watches as the kid is thrown backwards squirming and yelling, untill the darkness leaves him and evaporates. The kid was slain by the dark wizard. Orthodus will get revenge for this. killing a child was an ultimate crime. He slays the raider, then goes for the dark wizard. He is going to kill the wizard for such crimes. he will. |

since my char is a battlemage ur wondering why he isnt blasting that raider or fixing the wall with his magic. he doesnt KNOW he can do magic. he will learn he has magic from a good character later but i need someome that makes a good character that can do magic. untill then the story cant continue. thanks for reading n/e way |

Chapter 4. Realization of the dark.
The dark wizard turns around as Orthodus starts to charge him. he points his two fingers at Orthodus and then the dark wizards eyes glow red, and his hand starts to shake, then a torrent of dark energy flys at Orthodus but then, a torrent of bright, blinding light, charges into the dark energy and then a huge explosion. Orthodus is knocked back and the dark wizard stumbles back. Orthodus looks around and sees a hooded man, who grabs Orthodus and says "Come! we must get out of here. this village will be no more!!!" and as he says it, the garrison and villagers start to run for their lives. Orthodus runs with the hooded man and looks back at the dark wizard, who looked just infuriated. he yelled "I WILL GET YOU ORTHODUS!!! YOU CAN NOT RUN FROM RAAM!!!!"
Then the hooded man shoots another jet of bright blinding light at Raam and runs faster. Orthodus has to sprint to keep up. They reach the woods and the hooded man stops and looks around. Then a shifting happens in the ground and Orthodus draws his sword. Then an animal, some beast that has demon traits comes out. The hooded man says "hello Chung." Then the beast replys in a voice that almost makes the world vibrate, but Chung is not talking loud, "What are you doing Elven Trion Jiadin?" Orthodus looks at the hooded man. So thats why he could cast holy magic and run that fast. he's elven!
Then the elven man replys "I am taking the boy away from the danger."
"What danger?" Chung replys. "The unholy lord. he was heading here as soon as he heard of the prophecy from the seer. I took the boy away from the unholy lord's mercenarys." the elf replys. Then Chung says "Why does everyone call him the dark lord the unholy lord, the LORD? his name is TAMREILN!!!!!! it might put fear into the hearts of people to even THINK his name but ITS A NAME!!! and why do you take the boy away from Tamreiln if he is destined to kill him!!!!". Orthodus' eyes widen, HE was supposed to kill a DARK LORD? all this was happening because of HIM? his freinds and family dieing, houses burning, children being orphaned.... "SHHH!!! not infront of the boy!" The elf replys hurridly. "Well. the boy will have to know sooner or later." Chung replys. "Well Chung Tao, demonic beast. we must leave." the elf says and departs, motioning Orthodus to follow him. Orthodus catches up to the elven man and starts to say "Im su-" but gets interupted by the elven man. "I will explain it all soon enough. im Trion Jiadon by the way. elven ranger. I promise i will explain it all. I will soon enough." And Trion sets off a steady pace through the woods and Orthodus' follows. |

Chapter 5, Aftermath.
There is fire all around, burning houses and destroyed rubbish and debris all over. A man, glowing eyes, with a skull symbol on his hand, holding a raider by the neck. The man looked furious, and was yelling at the raider. "HOW DARE YOU LET THE CHILD GET AWAY FROM ME!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!" The raider starts to sputter, "There was a-" Then the man yells again, "YOU FAILED TAMREILN MERCENARY!!! YOU FAILED HIM SEVERELY!!!!!!!!!" Then Tamreiln takes the same sword he got at the hollow tree and lashes it at the raider, who falls instantly. Tamreiln loosens his grip and lets the dead raider fall through his hand. "The boy cant run from me. i will rule. and he cant stop me." Tamreiln motions to the hooded men behind him and says, "Finish this wasteland. make sure that no villager, nor even insect gets a home here." Tamreiln leaves after his orders, and the group of men start to blast fire and darkness all over the place. Leaving the village less then even ashes.
