I still don't understand why people care about "real vocals"

I really like artists all the way from Radiohead and Sarah McLachlan, to Rihanna and Katy Perry, because I don't see music as "ALL DAT MATERZ IS IF DA SINGER CAN ACTUALY SING". I guess I think songs are songs. THe same artist can have his/her ups and downs. A lot of music is beautiful to me.
