Yarr, this'd be 'fer this. http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=90392504 I keep eating dark chocolate despite hating it... Tsk. -------- Tiberius stepped off the transport craft just as the bay doors of the Pride and Envy closed, and air rushed into the chamber. Four hours ago the Shivan resistance on Paragon was officially declared subdued, and a larger force was garrisoned in Lloyd City under the temporary command of Commandant Josh Antagonist.  Tiberius sniffed in disgust. Why was it that he had even been ordered here? It wasn't exactly a complicated battle. Take the planets only city, their stronghold, and bomb a few pockets of resistance. Easily something the Centurion could have done. This was an absolute waste of time.  "Lord, a moment?" a Legionnaire in a shogun-like headpiece asked, coming from Tiberius' left side "Yes, go ahead." "Thank you." The man shuffled, clearly uncomfortable, or at least intimidated. That's always good. Keeps people loyal and in line. "Centurion Peritia has been fairly badly wounded in what was called a lab accident in the Machina-Bio room. He was been taken into care and will likely survive. However, there are multiple wounded soldiers with augmentations in need of tuning, some in quite bad shape. Worst case is Dapvir, but he will make it. However, the only man who was in charge of augmentations and their upkeep, Doctor Pond, has gone missing." "Missing?" Tiberius asked, curious. "Yes sir." "Typical. Consider this doctor to have assaulted Peritia. Give out the proper orders to this. As for the cyborgs, let them be. You said they will survive. If the limbs are bad they can get them fixed back on Arcadia." "Yes sir," the Legionnaire agreed, saluting, and walking away. What a petty issue, though Tiberius, beginning to walk to the bridge. This whole thing was petty. Likely it was simply because a Centurion wasn't exactly of rank to do something like this. However, it was understandable as to why Vallorn sent him here. This actually was a rather large Shiva sect. Either way. It was a waste of time to him. An incredible shock suddenly went through my body, literally making me yelp out in surprise, and went into spasms on the ground. The biggest though in my head was "WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" but the quieter, perpetually logical part of me had to wonder, "I'm alive?" As the horrible awakening wore off, so did my inability to think. Why, exactly, was it I could see? The sky above was beginning to become a dark shade of blue, the sun rising this time from the south it seemed. My hand went up to my face, to touch my eye, and felt the lens of my optical augment. Wasn't it broken? Didn't the Lord cut it? And then, didn't I DIE?! "Curious?" someone said from beside me, and I turned my head over to him.  His face was familiar. Something, at a time... "Doctor Pond?" He smiled a subtle little excuse, and nodded. "Quite so, little butterfly. You were in quite a pitiful state before. Being dead and all." "I died? So you revived me? Why? How are you here?" He shook his head, amused. "Would you mind a monologue? Good. Well. I see no reason to hold back. When I gave you the optical augmentation, it required a small neural augment as well to properly receive the signals, due to them not being typical. The thermal and night vision especially could not be interpreted by the organic brain. However, I didn't give you that. I gave you a much more powerful neural, that was designed to completely subjugate the host consciousness. The idea was "ensure loyalty" but I had my own agenda. What did I want to do? Make a thrall. You were merely meant to cause chaos, for amusement. However, you failed miserably. So sad. I shut the total control down yesterday as well, and started manually changing your thoughts and body aspects. Your lack of pain was an example. But as you can see, you died. And I have merely taken pity on you. After all, I did cause you to become the deranged unstable type." "I... Died?" He pointed over behind me. I followed his gesture, putting my eyes on a body a small bit away. White pants, black shirt. Short dark hair. Petite figure. I could feel my heart sinking in my chest, seeing and understanding, but unable to accept it. I looked down at myself. I was wearing a Shivan officer uniform, completely garbed. Touching my face I had a much softer shaped bone structure. My fingers went into my hair and lifted it, long, gold. Not my own. "... What...?" Ponds grin grew darker as he watched me. "Shivan Se'Hiro Dylon Tsema. Or was. Now it's you." I grabbed the optical augmentation, tugging on it. It was rooted in, stable and completely set into 'my' skull. "I don't understand. How is this? I'm her? And... Tsema.  Her eyes worked." "But yours did not," he said with a sigh, as it was obvious. "Allow me another monologue. You died. Inysa Cadence is dead. She will not come back. 'You' are her mind, thoughts, memories, feelings, beliefs, everything she was, copied into the empty memory of the neural augment, and then placed inside Miss Tsema's skull. She, also, is dead. The brain your augment is connected to is dead. I believe you are still using parts of it, however, but I am not versed in that area. Your heart is beating not out of need, but just to prevent decay. Even if it stops, so long as your nerves are in-tact, the body will obey you. Now, despite you being loaded onto it, the augment is still at its core an optic augmentation. It is not able to coexist with natural optical signals. For you to see at all, I had to put the augmentation into this body, as her eyes would be useless to you. Any questions?" I looked down at my hands, gloved and larger than mine. Tsema's- my- body was tall, with a defined figure, and far a far more mature stature than... Mine? It didn't make sense. "So... I'm... Pond face palmed, annoyed. "Inysa is dead. Tsema is dead. However, you are technically still Inysa, as you are everything she was. But right now, your actual existence is little more than a machine tapped into your spinal cord below your new brain. You should stop thinking. The body is you. You are, in every way, Inysa Cadence." "So... I'm an AI? A machine?" "Did you listen? You're yourself. Not a machine or anything of the sort. Really, stop thinking or you will hurt yourself. I mean that literally. You're still calibrating. Too much neural activity may kill you. And you would be amazed how few females there are I can find. Most evacuated, and you are a military minority." "I see," I said, climbing to my feet. They were longer than I was used to, and I had a different centre of gravity. My balance wavered, but I quickly caught myself. I was actually eye to eye with Pond, which was amazing for me. I never was level with anyone. I sighed, looking down at myself. "Would you mind dropping me somewhere?" He shrugged. "If it means I make even with you better, yes. I have a ship. And a small team of... Ah... Volunteers." I refused to ask. I knew what he meant. "Thank you. And do you have something else to wear? This... Doesn't work." ------------ IT ALL COMES TOGETHER!!!! I think...  Like I said, pseudo canon. And that children is why I'm blonde and such, despite the story being described as short and dark haired. It's not done yet, mind you.

I actually had thought about having him mentioned... but I felt that a Lord wouldn't think of one TAG imparticular as one of the wounded. However, as in the building with Tiberius, I meant to have it implied he was brought back. Mentioning Dapvir was because he has brittle augmentations and Pond was gone.

I'm not going to lie, that was creepy. But now it makes sense.
