Euna
She walks back to where she was headed, or rather running to it. It was too cold for her, and she needs the heat before she freezes on the frozen tundra. |

Nihohin soon returns to the camp, neither displaying nor feeling resentment, anger, disappointment. However, he thinks that he should. He feels that he should be furious and sad simultaneously. He shrugs at the illogical futility of such emotions, of the thought of such emotions. |

Vinnie
I opened my communicator. "How's the progress?" Pheonix replied. "We managed to negotiate the assistance of a Zialiony vessel. It's a cargo ship and has supplies being loaded onto it now." "Great. I'll also need a high-powered bioscanner." "Great." |

Vera had helped set up a few tents. "Beautiful, like a work of art, if art looked as ugly as canvas." |
Euna
She reaches the volcanic area, few forms of plants growing in the rich soil. Euna sighs, needing a biologist to scan the fruit if they are edible. |
Vinnie
"Yeah, except art is usually painted on canvas..." |

(If only Vera was there to tell you if the fruit was edible...)
"Thank you Einstein. I'll remember that when I'm using the latrines...." She sets up another tent. "Do we have any fire wood?" |
"We have yet to discover local flora," states Nihohin, returning to camp. |
Vinnie
"No, Snippy, but we have the empty crates. Wood is wood. Just burn one, though." |
Nihohin walks up to Vinnie and Vera. "I regret to inform you that Missim Eunanue has left her post unattended. I inquire as to which of you is to take her place as leader of this cooperative." |

"I'm busy headphones, maybe chucklenuts can help." Vera says, grabbing the empty crates. |
Vinnie
"I suppose I'll have to." |
Nihohin presents him with a stiff bow. "Captainiatpac Vinniv, I await your command." |
Vinnie
"Well, first, I get the impression that you disapprove of my command. If you have any concern, let it be heard. If not, then secondly, then tell me where Euna went. I'll have to track her down eventually. Third... thirdly? I dunno. Thirdly! Help me find a renewable source of heat." |
Nihohin nods. "Very well, sirris. I do not disapprove of your command, but I disapprove of your having to take command. In other words, I disapprove of Missim Eunanue's abandonment of her post. I believe you shall do the best that you may, sirris. Missim Eunanue left for the volcanic areas in that," he points, "Direction. I suppose that area may be used as a renewable heat source. There are open pools of lava." |

"So we can stop wagging our asses to a piece of wood for heat." Vera adds on, rubbing a slim stick to a board from a crate. |
Vinnie
"Alright. grab some goggles. We're going to go over there. Unless you already have a lethal weapon, grab one. I don't care if you disprove of using it, wildlife doesn't understand the danger of weapons..." I said, grabbing another coat and putting it on, putting on a pair of snowgoggles, and then putting up the hood, slinging a rifle over my shoulder, and pulling my part of a bandana-like mask to cover my mouth. "We're not directly tracking Euna though, and conditions may not warrant a safe trip home. So grab a mini-shovel." I added, grabbing one myself, prompting Tiny and Nihohin to do the same. "You can come if ya want, Vera." |

"I'll follow behind once I get this fire started for the others...." Vera says, taking the boards and going inside of a tent to start a fire again. |
Nihohin takes hold of a shovel. "My baton's electric current may be raised to a fatal level." |
Vinnie
"Mm." I said, mumbling with acknowledgement. Tiny nodded at me, so I made a motion for Nihohin and him to follow. I trekked off in the direction of the volcanic activity. I was moving as fast as the heavy gear I was wearing would allow. Tiny fought the snow, practically having to dig his thighs out everytime he wanted to take a step. We'd have to find something to function as snow shoes. |
Nihohin walks beside them without hindrance, slowly so as to not become too far ahead. |
Vinnie
"How far is this volcano, roughly?" I said, now accustomed to running in the snow, both Tiny and I running at much faster paces. |

Vera finally gets a spark. She quickly pulls out a few of her hairs and adds to the sparks to make a fire. She she grabs a piece of board and quickly puts over it. After giving instructions to a private on how to keep it going, she gears up and heads out, following the track of footsteps, slowly, but surely. |
"It is not exactly a single volcano, but apparently a field of tectonic activity," Nihohin replies. "We must tread carefully, for fear of volcanic gases and pools of molten rock. I do not know what may inhabit the area, either." |
Vinnie
"Good to know, but the question was how far." I said, leaping off a rock, landing a few feet down. "But still, that's useful information." |
