I didn't want to read this series AT ALL. I thought it sounded terrible and boring. I picked up the book. I started reading. Next thing I know, it's midnight. Me: Ah, another hour won't do much harm. I just finished Catching Fire but I heard that Mocking Jay is terrible :o

Mockingjay isn't entirely awful. It's just not nearly as good as the others.

Mockingjay was to weird in my opinion. If you want a spoiler, read on: Everyone dies. Katniss is in the hospital most of the time, along with other main characters. The end. Spoiler done. Wasn't really a spoiler. But oh well.

I personally enjoyed Mockingjay. It gets in depth into the psychological aspects of the characters. It isn't as... Um... "Blunt" as the other books though.

Mokingjay was really anoying to me so was catching fire. (warning may contain spoilers) Catching fire was okay since it held the original tenseness of the Hunger Games, but said that you already can tell the ending since Suzan isn't a very tragic writer. Mokingjay was quiet disturbing, firstly Suzan needs to know how a rebelion is formed before writing one. So that means people aren't given the respected rank "soldier" which isn't even a rank... Secondly if every one knows that Catniss is going to go to go to the capitol, sacrifice her own team, burn off her skin, arrive just in time to see her own sister die, and in the end NOT EVEN getting president Snow, WHY SEND HER IN THERE, if I was in Coins (the head of the rebelion) position I would lock Katniss up until every thing is over. Second of all, the players in the hunger games are just regular teens who happened to have the misfortune of being picked to go in the Hunger Games, they are not soldiers... they have NO EXPERIENCE IN REAL WAR BATTLES, why send them in as part of the army??? Third of all, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE WORLD?? Where is China or Australia or Europe or Asia or Russia. I mean what has the world expanded in being just America, is the book in a different dimension, this is one of the points that really just got me angry. Fourthly it looked like the capitol made only biological weapons. Where are old fashion guns and jets or riffles? Why does every thing have to be so messed up like having reptiles with fangs and monkey bodies that smell like president Snow. And above all it looks like Coin has just gone bonkers about every thing, who agrees putting someone like Pluto or Heymitch would lead the rebelion better. Swift~
