So, as you'll have noticed by the time you read this, I'll have left -Imperium of Man-
For those randomists out there, whom have never heard of this fantastic group, I -was- a Lord General. It's a great group, the best thing is the people within it.
I'll start off by giving a bit of background from when I started in the group.

I joined very nearly a year ago, when I first joined, I wasn't active at all, I was just another face in the 500+ guardsmen or however many guardsmen were there way back then, I don't remember. Couple weeks before I was scheduled to leave for a 3 month long vacation with limited internet I became a bit more active. I found the Death Korps of Krieg. I had a tryout with Crusademan1998 [I think that was his user] and Evarlay. I enjoyed their company for the time before my vacation.
When I returned, I found I'd be exiled from DK-K, presumably from inactivity.
I found a completely new person I hadn't heard of before in charge, Slayermaster3024.
I immediately set about getting really into this group. When I passed new/updated DK-K tryouts I was contempt with how things were. Slayer was a nice, granted strict, boss to follow.
I stayed inside Death Korps of Krieg for most of my Imperial career, and it was my favorite regiment/astartes of them all.
Over a couple weeks I'd managed to get noticed more frequently and I obtained Captain. At that point school was starting back up so I went active for about three weeks. I finally decided "Oh I'll just check how IoM is doing today". I was shocked to find I was a Major.
Now for the sake of me knowing you're getting bored of me going through my history I'm almost done.
Throughout the remainder of my time I achieved two of my three goals.
-Become Lord General
-Become Kaiser of DK-K
-Become a Custode of Eaglesword -Never completed-
I resigned as Kaiser and returned it to slayer for a good cause, if you're really interested PM me and you get a new story.
I ran Warhawks very VERY briefly, so briefly nobody knew I'd been running it. During January, all HR's had gone off and been busy with school/RL/Guild wars 2. It was just lil' ole' me left. I didn't keep it active granted, but I still patrolled with the other Imperials who happened to come by. Hopefully I leave the Imperium with friends intact.

As said at the start, IoM is a grand group, nice allies -I'll exclude vakkies-, great people, good knowledgeable leaders, good tech/bases.
It was nice.
Here I'll put a list of a few notes of thanks to certain people. If you aren't included, my apologies, but there are too many people for me to remember on the top of my head.
DragonDX1 & Slayermaster3024 [I know Slayer already left IoM but I want him in this thing] - I can't thank you both enough, there are so many kind things you did for me, so I just thank you for being mentors and friends. I hope I made you both proud at times, thanks for the fun ride.
VektrinCallic - Everyone thought you would be an inactive Emperor, so nobody wanted you, -nor alilman-, but you're proving those people wrong, including me. Do keep the Imperium going for heavens sake, I'd hate it to go. :(
Puger41 - You were a good friend of mine, one I could always trust things too. Thanks for that Puggurt. c:
Babo - You're an amazing fighter, don't let anybody forget that. You were a fantastic Krieg, and I do hope one day, if you stay in IoM, that you run a new DK-K. Thanks for being a friend. c:
Pvtidiot - People didn't like you for a while for many reasons that I care not to list, just know I was always a friend and willing to listen, even if others were too close-minded.
Eaglesword - I am proud to have served under you and on occasion fight with you.
Evarlay82 & Mikekilla2 - I'll just say "Bleh". You both lost my respect, Mike lost it first, then you Evar. Mike I won't say the first reason out in public but for those who are curious PM me. But both of you AA'd Ali's IoM. Sure they were a heretical faction not giving IoM to the correct Emperor, but it was still very petty and pathetic of you to AA Imperials who hadn't done a thing to you two. Bleh.
Jonathangolf - You might think I hated you, but no. In hindsight I demoted you for silly things I really shouldn't have. Grand job with those new uniforms, they look very very nice. My thanks as well for creating the new IoM for Vektrin and all of us to stay as a community.
These are just a small handful of the amazing/rubbish [Lol] people I met in the Imperium.
I do hope I can come visit Stroh and be remembered as a former Lord General, not some random person claiming to be someone and be accused a liar.
I also hope I can visit Stroh from time to time as a friend, not a raider, not a civilian.
If I think of more to say I'll put it in a post in this thread.

I was forced to Threaten demoting to you because you were hesitant to punish an idiot in your DK-K I DON'T CARE what people think, you never had anything on me because that was never a secret. Another thing I want to address to you, Evar and I both AA'd the heretic group because we had the gull to do what the hi-com didn't have the chance to; Destroy something stolen, I noticed you didn't do jack. (Must have liked that rank huh?) And you were NEVER active, at least Evar and I did stuff, you jumped into stroh for half an hour a day and put no effort into anything That said.
Good riddance to you pal.

Lol. From what I remember you wanted me to demote/exile that Krieg because he did 1 thing. He teleported something.
Ermahgawd, ermahgawd, he teleported someone. QUICK SOMEONE GET AN EXILE ORDER GOING :O
And you and other HR's did go inactive during December. You ran off to Frost clan or somewhere.
I patrolled everyday, with other Imperials who are active. :)

Kind of late to say, but like what Mike said. Good riddance, "lost respect". So Bleh you honestly you might have left and been so "honorably discharged" Or whatever. Anywho you never done anything. So, basicly just an Officer. Not a Lord General. Welp, anywho. Have a good life in WIJ, glad you resorted to that. |
