I just stay by my team's spawn in Domination or Demolition and wait for someone to try and come take the flag. Usually I'll play on Nuketown just because going up through the fence area makes it easier to stop them from getting there. I've stopped 5 people from getting into my team's spawn to capture the final flag in Domination before one of them decided to snipe me. Yes... Yes! Black Ops 1 gave more freedom about using guns and they were balanced, you could technically use any weapon in every round without being afraid of OP weapons. BO2 is clusterf- with SMG spraying.

Come to think of it, Black Ops was pretty balanced. Sure, there were more assault rifles and SMGs, but won't there always be? Shotguns - both Stakeout and SPAS were effective Snipers - A lot harder to use, use them more how they're supposed to be used...more rewarding. LMGs - The M60, what a powerhouse.
