first playthrough or evil?
(sorry, as someone who always plays as a good character killing someone innocent is something first timers do or evil characters.
I once made an evil character...there were like 10 dead people in my Megaton home. |

If I were you, I'd try to go through the main quest line. As in the quest "The Waters of Life" you earn power armor training and tons of laser rifles and ammo for them, I made an evil character and finished the quest at level 7, so you should probably be good at that point.

I defeated the super mutant with just a bat and 50 health
that's probably really easy to do |

I shot a BoS guy on accident and then accidentally hit quicksave and so now they're all shooting at me and I can't go anywhere :(

Though yeah, one major flaw of Fallout is how friendly fire can screw you over. Put away your weapon, they may forgive you and stop shooting.

Everyone has killed a few paladins with the Fat Man at GNR. Try running away, waiting for a few days, and coming back.

lower difficulty and run away, try to stay outside so you can fast travel.
once done, wait 3 or so days
come back and they shouldn't be hostile anymore. |

ok so I stole a bottlecap mine and then had to kill the mauria person or whatever ( :( ) but luckily still got the armor, and then went into lucas's house to get the strength bobblehead, and like 50 people were in there so I threw the mine and most of them died and I felt like a bad ass cause I jumped through the little thing in his floor when I threw the mine |
