And two there were only a few Puerto Rican rappers that got noticed back then like Big Pun and Fat Joe. Ever since Big Pun died, no one really talked about Puerto Rican rappers after that. |

And if there was any reason that I would think that this isn't true is because slums and ghettos are part of the system to get blacks into jail by making the only way for a black kid to get money in the slums is by drug dealing, and we all know that that's illegal. And seeing that you're born into a white family (no racism intended), and you're dad smokes weed in front of the damn cops, you're parents pretty much put you in the lowest situation possible and set you up to fail. |

And I did not say that Puerto Rican rappers were "uncalled for", I said that they haven't been as prominent anymore ever since Big Pun died. Plus, I wouldn't be insulting them because Big Pun and Fat Joe are some of my favorite rappers. |

We can also trace it back to white culture of around the 1600s when poetry was big inside Europe. People began reading poems out loud following a rhythm which is similar to rap's 'flow'.
Every ethnicity has been involved in the rap/hip-hop genre.
