Cool idea, I support it.
If anything though, seeing how many members online to raid isn't as important as the online members seeing there's a raid.
I think instead of a group shout button, maybe there can be a "PM All" button for groups to alert everyone of raids or trainings. Shouts aren't always seen so that would be a good thing for those who want to come but don't realize it's time to.
Just my view. I still completely support the idea for the online member check. |

I get that my idea would somewhat spam, but how's that different from this idea? Instead of giving YOU the burden of PM'ing everyone online, it'll do it for you.
This idea just pretty much lets you PM and party everyone online, so as long as we're going to do it anyways, why not let the group do it for us?
Instead of your PM box saying it's from a person, in my situation, it would say "National Elite Army" instead of "seniorpepe" so people will know it's a group alert instead of a literal PM. |

I support this thread for many reasons, great idea, even though my group, Vaultors Legion, is very small it is hard to find the online members in the group.

Well, Hungry, that's the same as saying an HR can get mad and demote everyone. Or use the check online to PM everyone anyways.
There could be a limit of time, 1 per half an hour or hour or whatever.
There'd be an option in "Account" to disable it, just like normal PMs.
And really, would you rather receive spam, which is annoying but can just be clicked on within a minute, or would you rather have the HR demote a bunch of members, which is much more of a pain to fix.
There'd also be an option in group admin to say what ranks can PM, so that the highest rank can only PM to prevent much spam. |
