1.) It is nice to be important, but it is important to be nice. This will gain you friends and leave good impressions. It does not matter if you have amazing skill, you must first learn to be humble and learn to help others. You must be a good person before you can be a good builder/etc.
2.) Learn to C-frame and use mesh resize. These simple skills can go a long way when you pair them with imagination and creativity.
3.) Have imagination and creativity. If you have a good idea, find someone who can help you turn that idea into reality.
4.) Join clans/groups. Being a high rank in a clan will grant you fame. Joining groups will help you get involved with the community and therefore help you fulfill steps 1 and 3.
5.) Learn Lua. Scripting is a great help. This, or befriend a good scripter and learn off him (and have him make some difficult scripts if you can).
6.) Be mature and be smart. With proper grammar and a controlled temper, you can pretty much get through anything. I remember raiding a clan once for a couple hours, neither side wanted to give up. So, I decided to just sit down and talk to the other team's leader whom had been attempting to troll us. So, I entered his office (they had one on the base) and acted as pleasant + distracting as possible, and he decided he'd just surrender due to the kindness.
7.) Get to the front page, and obtain a large amount of currency. Having a lot of money and overall just being known in the community is probably the easiest way to become famous.
8.) Befriend famous people, but not in a toolish way. You want to be a legitimate friend, and there to help out and give ideas or just to mess around with them.
9.) Like fried chicken. And learn to draw clothing. Or advertisements.
10.) Make a clan and advertise.
Really, it's up to you. Being famous isn't all that great, however being a good friend is. So, do what you want to do and make what you want to make. It's your life to create. |
