You are a simple commoner in the Forgotten Realms.The Realms are enormous.They are the Material Plane which is the realm of humans and monsters such as orks or dragons.Basicly the place that we live in.Then there is the Astral Plane which is the realm of spirits and summons creatures(creatures that wizards can summon to the material plane with magic to help in fights).Then there are the Elemental Planes.Basicly a Realm for creatures of each element(fire,water,earth,etc.) and they can sometimes open portals to the Material Plain and elemental creatures are extremely dangerous and violent.But the most horrible and vile realm is The Abyss.It is the realm of pure evil and home to demons and other horrible creatures that you could not even begin to understand,including Lloth the Spider Queen,who is the god of the dark elves or the drows(dark elf=drow they are the same thing).Anyway back to you.All your like you have tryed to become a great warrior.It will aid you.The Realms are colliding.Every realm has a centerpiece that holds it together,like a core.The cores have been destroyed by Shimmergloom,the Dark King Of The Abyss.He is the most powerful dragon in all of the Realms yet he wants more power.With out the cores the Realms are colliding and the result will be a breakthrough.The doors will open and the realms will become one.But Shimmergloom did not realize that the power of the realms comming together would be too much.Shortly after the merge the Realms will explode.You are a warrior and you will team up with other,travel to each realm,find each piece of each core,fix each realm,and take down Shimmergloom and his followers.You must fix this before the explosion turns the entirity of the Realms into one big wasteland.

Ok so heres the plot for dummies who didnt read my first post.You will team up with other,travel to each realm,find each piece of each core,fix each realm,and take down Shimmergloom and his followers.Every one is from the Material Plane.
Races you could be.
Human-we know what they are
Elf-Happy little creatures.In this elfs are the same size as humans but with pointed ears.They have their own language and are masterful at magic,enchanting weapons,and cooking.They can live to be about 700.
Dwarf-Dwarfs are about half the size of a human but with twice the ferocity.They forge and create the greatest weapons in the world and often have many rare and priceless gems.They are ferocious in battle and will often lose control of there senses not even feeling deep wounds until the battle is over.All dwarves have huge beards that often reach down to their knees.
Drow-A drow is a black elf.They have no feelings.Their hair is a stark white and their skin is a deep violet color with red eyes.They are the most skilled swordsmen in the world and are incredilbe with black magic.Women are often stronger than men.They live to be around 700 and their mortal enemys are the elfs.They live thousands of miles underground in a dark city called Menzoberranzen and rarely come to the surface.When they do it only to kill.Most if not every creature in the Realms fears them and they are never merciful.(must have my permission)
Halfling-halflings are what happens if you mix a human with an elf.They really arent good for much but they have the power to create magical charms.They are a bit taller than dwarves.
Troll-Not too bright but skilled in hand to hand combat,these ugly beasts often carry a club to fight with.they are dimwitted but are very strong and can lift up to 5 tons(10000 pounds)

Now each character will also need a class.Your characters class will decide what weapons he uses,how he acts,etc.
Classes your guy could be.
Warrior-Warriors are strong and noble.They can be good or evil but no matter what side they are on they always fight strong and hard and they never give up hope.Warriors can use swords,axes,or spears.(Races that can be warriors are-Human,Elf,Dwarf,Drow,or Troll.)
Mage-Mages are people who have devoted their entire lives to the study of magic.They can be good or evil but are never one for melee battle.They are strong of will and are very intellegint.Mages can only use staves.But extremely powerful mages can summon creatures from the Spiritual Plain to help in battle.(Races that can be mages are-Human,Elf,Drow,and Halfling)(you must have my permission to have a mage that can summon.)
Paladin-Paladins are warriors who have given their lives to the church.They fight in the name of God and are always good.Paladins have limited light magic and their weapons can be axes or warhammers.(Races that can be Paladins are-Human,Elf,or Dwarf)
Priest-A mage who has givin his life to the church.They are always good and command very powerful light magic.They are very gifted healers but they are very weak when it comes to physical combat.Priest weapons can be either staffs or holy symbols.(Races that can be priests are-Human,Elf,Dwarf,or Halfling.)
Berserker-A warrior gone insane.Berserkers do not care at all for their own lives.They only want to destroy others.They are always evil and because they do not care at all for defence all that extra energy goes into offence making them very dangerous.They can use swords,axes,or spears.(Races that can be berserkers are-Human,Dwarf,Troll.)
Rouge-Rouges are the ones that nobody wanted.They are often theives gifted in the art of stealth.They are neither good or bad it just depends on how much somebody pays them.They are great and masterful spys and are a valuble asset to any team.Their weapons consist of daggers and poisons.(Races that can be rouges are-Human,Dwarf,Drow,Halfling.)
Ranger-Rangers are the great archers.They have perfect aim and are very fast.Rangers are often mercinaries that will join your team for a cost.They are most often good but a few have turned to evil in search of fulfillment.Rangers use bows or crossbows.(Races that can be rangers are Human,Elf,Drow,Halfling,Troll.) |

Appearance:A very handsome guy among his kind,Darren has short white hair that comes down to about the middle of his ears and is spiked up in the front.He has a black cape with a picture of a red spider on the back and wears traditional drow armor.He has burning red eyes and purple-violet skin.He has two curved swords,calles schimiters,on his belt in sheathes.
Short History:Darren was always different from other drow children.Drows often kept cave goblins as slaves and when the children had fun torturing them by having them do horrible things like walk into a sleeping dragons cave,or just pushing them down and kicking them,Darren and his brother Nalfein never really liked it.This came out as he got older.Darren refused to kill anything even though he was the greatest swordsman in all of the drow capitol city.The other drows despised him and his brother for going against their tradition.Darren later discovered the his father,Zaknafein the weapon master,had felt the same way,and when his mother,Malice the matron,found out
she had Zaknafein sacraficed to their demon god Lloth.Darren and his brother couldn't take it and attacked their mother but her dark magic was too much for them.Instead of killing them she exiled them to the surface.Drows were so used to pitch black darkness that they believed the sun to be evil and that it could kill drows.Darren however found that it stung and burned his skin fiercly but it did not kill him.He and Nalfein now live on the surface where everyone hates and fears the drow.They live in a cave far up on a mountain.Alone.
Other:He and Nalfein keep a statue of a panther safe at all times because when you rub it it summons Guenhwyvar the magical black panther.Darren,Nalfein,and Guenhwyvar are an unstoppable force in battle.

As Darren stood at the mouth of the cave he sighed as he stared out at the endless forests and mountains,with the sun scorching his eyes."Will these surface dwellers ever accept?"he mumbled to himself as he saw a human riding by in a horse drawn carraige.He and Nalfein had been living on the surface for nearly a month now and he was eager for new companionship.When they first emerged they went to a human village,unaware that the humans knew of how evil their race was.As soon as one citizen got a look at them coming down a hill he alerted the rest of the village and they formed and angry mob and summoned soldiers from the nearby kingdom of Kellindil.The two drow renegades saw the coming attack.Having no intentions of violence,and not knowing how to speak english they quickly fled choosing the cave as their home.Nalfein came to join Darren at the mouth of the cave."Brother",he said,"how long are you prepared to seek companionship?These surface dwellers may never accept us"."I know"said Darren,"but we cannot give up.Somewhere in this surface world there is a purpose for us".The two brothers watched as the sun set and day turned to night.This was their time.Darren went and got the statue of the panther,and summoned Guenhwyvar from the Spiritual Plane.The brothers and the great cat headed off into the night to seek a purpose in their new lives on the surface. |

((id like a little bit more detailed information about characters in the future.not as long as mine but something of that sort.anyway i will grant you permission to summon after you have posted for a while))
As Darren was going down the path he heard something crack in the distance.One look at Nalfein told him that he had heard it too.Darren told Guenhwyvar to blend into the shadows and keep an eye on things and if they need help he would come in.Darren and Nalfein drew their weapons.Darren's beutifully crafted and extremely sharp schmiters were out of their sheathes in a blink of an eye,one in each hand.Nalfein drew his daggers made of pure onyx,the rock of darkness and tipped with poison made from the breath of a black dragon and the venom from a cobra.Nalfein lept into the trees,not making a sound as Darren advanced on foot.As they came closer to the sound they saw some goblins picking wildberries.They looked at eachother with relieved faces and decided to watch the goblins for a while.When they finished picking they headed back to their campsite and the two brothers followed.It seemed like a peaceful place full of creatures who loved life and loved living.Now Darren and Nalfein were new to the surface and did not know much about the inhabitants.They came out of hiding thinking the creatures would accept them but they were wrong.Goblins really loved war and fighting,even though they were not very good at it.Never the less,they attacked the brothers.It was over in seconds.They had slain 34 goblins before Guenhwyvar could get over there.They went back to the cave with sour expressions on their faces. |

Darren had noticed movement in the cave before they were even halfway up the mountain and they already had their weapons drawn incase of danger.Using their infra-vision,the ability that let them see in pitch black darkenss,they saw that one was a human and to their horror the other was a surface elf.They did not have a problem with surface elves but all other drows despised and hated them with all of their black hearts.Darren rememberd back to a couple hundred years ago,back when he and his brother were in Melee-Magthere,the school for drow fighters.One day the school took its most skilled fighters and took them on a trip to the surface.Even at night the stars burned the drow's skin and eyes.All of the other drows thought the surface was an evil place,but Darren and Nalfein thought it was beautiful.But the reason they had come was not to enjoy the scenery.It was a surface raid.The drows were going to an elven campsite to kill the surface elves with no mercy.Darren and Nalfein didn't kill any.And to make matters worse the raid was led by their own older brother,Dinin.Dinin was the oldest brother of the family but he did not see things as his younger brothers did.He was not the son of Zaknafein as his brothers were.Eventually Darren found a small elf girl no more than 20 years old was crying over a dead body that Darren knew was ner mother.Darren looked around and noticed Dinin coming with his huge broadsword in hand.Darren took some blood from the dead elf on the ground and put it on the little girl and told her to lay down.He wasnt sure if she really understood because their languages were similar but not the same.But she layed down and pretended to be dead and Dinin came over and looked at his brother and smiled thinking that Darren would finnaly be a real drow.That little girl was the only surviver.As the two brothers looked at the carnage of the campsite they realized that they would never be true drows.That was the most painful memory of the brother's lives and now there was a surface elf right here right in front of them.Darren knew that the surface elves hated the drow as much as the drow hated them but he could not speak their language.He did not know what to do so he and his brother dropped their weapons and put their hands over their chests which was a sign of wanting peace in drow cities. |
