Party chats are really one of my favourite additions to ROBLOX. It makes it possible to have a simple conversation with a friend without having to send PMs back and forth, which can get boring, and can take a long time, or talking with them ingame. Regardless, there is still a lot that can be improved about it, and those improvements can be found here, in this good old legitimate wordwall. #1: Request to join party chat I've had it many times where I see a friend online, try to party chat them, and make a face resembling ">:O!" when I get the pop-up "User is in another party." The only thing I can do about that is: a) Send the friend a PM asking to join the party. b) Follow the person ingame. c) Start a regular chat and ask them to join the party. The problem with a) is, PMs aren't very noticeable. Also, if they're just talking with a friend, and they don't refresh the page, then the new message icon won't appear for them. Most of the time, I've had to wait a solid 10 minutes or more before finally being invited after sending a PM. The problem with b) is, sometimes the friend isn't playing a game, or they're in a full server. And the problem with c) is, chat messages also aren't very noticeable. Like, seriously. I mean, they're more noticeable than they used to be, but still. Even a person with amazing peripheral vision (which, for you uneducated folks, means the ability to see what's on the side of you while looking straight ahead) may take a long time before seeing the chat. So I have a simple method to solve this crisis. Send a join request to the party the friend is in. The party leader can choose to accept, decline, or block the user. Blocking prevents them from sending any more requests until the party chat ends. #2: Make party chats more compatible with smartphones. So yeah, I just recently got an iPod Touch, which, oh joy, means that I can chat with my friends without having to be on an actual computer. However, I have found party chats extremely annoying to use. They are very glitchy. The scrolling is messed up, for instance, and whenever I refresh a page, the party chat zooms all the way out and scrolls all the way back up. It's rather difficult to explain exactly how the party chats are difficult to use on an iPod, but the fact remains. Maybe add party chatting to the list of mobile options? As of right now, there are only a few things you can do with the mobile version of the ROBLOX website. Doing anything with the "Full Site" option is always difficult to handle, and party chats can only be done in the Full Site. I think it would be good to make a mobile version of party chats, because chatting with friends is my primary reason for using the phone, and it's probably most people's primary reason too. #3: Make chat requests more noticeable. Not party chat requests, just regular chat requests. As I have said, they are very difficult to see as of right now. Perhaps a pop-up in the middle of the screen? I think you should have the option to set how noticeable you want new chat messages to be. For instance, if you want a huge pop-up in the middle of the screen, or a small pop-up in a corner, or a sound, or something. In any case, I want to know when a friend is trying to get my attention with the chat. Perhaps just making the chat box pop up every time a new message is sent? #4: Tell us when another person is either not viewing the site or has disconnected. I'm not sure how possible this is, but if it is possible, I would very much like to know if someone disconnected. Ingame, if a person randomly leaves, you figure they disconnected. But if someone just stops chatting with you on a party chat, you don't really know why. It would help a lot to know if their internet flashed off or if they are doing something else on the computer. (Once again, not sure how possible this is). #5: Increase the party size limit. There's nothing wrong with this. Party chats are a good way for smaller groups to get their members' attention for a raid or training. I'd say increase it to at least 20. If you say, "That's too many people, everyone will be talking and nobody will be able to see what the high rank is saying," then that's just invalid. Ingame, you would have the same problem, and ingame you can have up to 30 people in a server. But if the lower ranks are told to shut up, then they all eventually will. -- Feedback pl0x. Definitely not my best idea list, oh well.

I support everything. Even though I don't have a mobile, I'd like other peoples experiences to be better too.

I hadn't realized I posted this a full six months ago. Since the suggestion is still relevant, I suppose it isn't a bad thing to bump it.
