It's extremely frustrating when you pay for a premium ad, and people with more money to spend just steal it and make it more popular than the original, blurring out the signatures of the creators.
Make it so that you can copylock/uncopylock ads, thus making it possible to disable people from copying them.
Some people think that their ads having large influence through other people is a good thing, but to me, the people who stole my ad [INCLUDING Jaredvaldez], are leeches who are getting what they don't deserve.
We should be able to keep the ads we make and pay for for ourselves, if we so choose.

This would reduce the number of ads quite a lot, but hey, the original ones would show more often. |

What's going to stop me from screenshot-ting it then uploading it?
Pointless, people always find a way. Plus some ads are edited to be funnier than the original.

Support, and Treticle.
People that would do that would be smarter. You must realize, people copy ads for quick running ads, they don't want to have to take time to screenshot it, then crop it, then reupload it.
Trust me, this would work. |

@bat
Explain. |

QuilboarJoin Date: 2010-05-17 Post Count: 18911 |
@Treticle
Usually people who copy ads are dullwits who have no idea how to create ads themselves.
If they had the skill to do what you said, they would probably possess the ability to make their own ads. |

It's impossible because they can either:
1. Visit the image directly and then save it (can be prevented)
2. Screenshot it (can't be prevented) |

I would like to support this, but I am not sure if it is possible to copylock an ad.

-> Still not going to stop them from print screening and cropping, is it now? |

@Desperian
There will always be loopholes. As long as the majority stops copying ads, then its still better than not doing it. |
