It spawns near the portal in the cave. The egg spawns frequently, especially during the volcano explosion and is easy to obtain. I'm not sure if you can obtain it without the eruption, because I would see it on my eggdar and wasn't able to find it anywhere. Good luck on hunting The Last Egg.

Never mind, I guess I wasn't looking hard enough. It does spawn in the cave without the eruption .
