I want to be able to keep the egg when it hatches, kind of like how we can keep a present when the present opens.

Good thought but the "hatched" concept woul be right if you still had the egg. It hatched, no more egg, egg broken. Comprehend?

Support if your talking about this: Keep the egg and get another egg that is hatched.
