Paper Roblox is a recent idea I just had, which would be a roleplaying game with multiple common worlds as a Grassy outdoor world, a desert, a icy mountain exploration, ect. Players can choose between multiple Paper-like characters that they can morph into. There will also be DLC packages that allow players to access certain morphs or areas of the game, which people who haven't bought the package, can't. I just wanted to hear what you guys think of the idea. C:

I like the idea dude! Will this be a 2D-based Roblox game, or a 3D-based one? If it is 3D-based, then instead of having flat 2D picture morphs, you could instead have separate decals for the different body parts (like a paper-like decal for the front of the torso, special paper decals and faces for the head, etc.). You could also add a fun little story into it, to make the game a bit more exciting (like maybe in the 'paper world' one of the players' friend's betrayed them, and it could be a revenge story)
This could definitely turn into something cool, I'd really recommend going through with this!

@BogyMac, Thank you, and it will be a 3D-based game, 2D Cameras and roleplays don't work well together. The idea of having seperate decals to add parts together to make your own Robloxian morph sounds cool, but i'm not sure how I would get that to work, because i'm not that of a advanced scripter. And i'm not going to add a story to it, because that would ruin the whole point of it being a roleplay. |

You cant really call it paper Roblox because of Explode1's game 'Paper Roblox' the game has a large community so I recommened calling it something else.

The game will be very different from Explode1's version. His game isn't really that popular anyway. Plus, Paper Roblox has been done many times before, he didn't invent it. |

I like it, but please don't have DLC. That'd ruin everything.
I think so long as you have good scripting, building, and a good storyline, you've got it all covered, because you have a great concept.
Just keep your head and don't get too overworked with this. |

How would DLC ruin everything? It's optional, and it's pretty much just really cool. And there is not going to be any storyline, i'm leaving that for the players to create themselves, after all, this is a roleplay. |

can you add attacking paper figures?
maybe a PVP arena
a sword shop,with paper swords (use the paper sword mesh)
shield shop
and powerup shops

I know the idea has already been created, but not front page as far as I'm aware, although the other Paper Roblox was more like Paper Mario.
But I don't know about a RP game. |
