Oh my gosh, you are so clueless.
It is to control inflation, and yes, roblox has an economy.
The 30% tax was added, because the front pagers were making millions stacked on millions, aswell as good investors. They were racking up cash and buying limiteds, and the price of everything went up.
The old most expensive item was sir. richston or something, at 11,111k robux. New one? Lord of the federation, orginally sold for 250k robux. If you don't see a difference there, there is a problem.
The tax is to help drain the money from the economy because it was building to high with the population. With 50 million accounts (or near) that is 500,000,000 new tickets into the economy EVERY DAY. Not even to mention robux from BC.
Advertisements and tax drain this amount, so it makes a balance and inflation slows. Inflation is the decrease in the value of currency, not making it worhless.
Items prices go up with inflation, the 30% didnt make items cost more, but rather decrease in a long-term affect. If it was never added, users will be making tons of money, and people will be selling limiteds at a high price because they can. |

3/4 of my highschool electives are based around marketing and finance, I know my stuff.
The admins obviously know more than you do, so instead of complaining about 30% being drained, learn to adapt.

@Nuclear Roblox has taken over 400,000 robux from me so far from absolutely unnecessary taxes. That's a lot. |

And ryan, it isn't because the 30% tax you are losing money.
You can't leave a game as it is forever. Your game is fun for an hour or so, then it is just way to repetive. More content is needed. Ideas?

nuclear, what's the best way to profit off of a game but still keep advertisements going? I can make a game but not play it so playing it to get ideas won't help. If I play I'll lag pretty bad.

Roblox really needs to stop the 30% Tax we pay money for Bc To get the ability to sell stuff In the real world we dont pay BC But other stuff But we are getting virtual money and daan may be right about inflation cause back in 2009 but ryan is right too its pointless if you buy bc and the ability too sell is special because of that but 30% Roblox should balance stuff we should have 20%or25%Tax. |
