@Ruby
"Maybe you're tired?" The man suggests. "I can take you back to your room."

Ruby
"No...I don't like...room." I muttered. |
@Ruby
"Well, what do you want?" The man says, getting frustrated. "You can go to the cafeteria or your room."

Ruby
"Neither..." I said calmly as he started getting frustrated. |
"Okay." The man says, leaving the room; leaving you alone.

Ruby
I lay there on the ground for a while till my stomach made a sound that meant I was pretty hungry. I crawled over to the cafeteria and walked to where the food was. |
I walk in silently
Eating the food I can, something as healthy as can be |
The food is a simple burger, with sweet potato fries. There are various different vegetables, and milk.

Ruby
I reached the cafeteria and slowly forced myself to get up and get some food. I got to a table, stumbling and sat down eating some of my food. |
I only have the milk and veggies, dumping the rest away, then waiting for the next task |
The girl pokes at her food, and eats the food, some of it. She looks around at the others.

I ate the vegetables happily, I liked the taste of them. I took a bite of the burger but decided not to eat it quickly afterward, and neither the potatoes that looked odd. I drank some of the milk after. |
I start to ogle, seeing a girl, I smile at her, and make a small wave, |
Ruby
I glanced up and noticed how other people were talking somewhat to others. I stopped eating "I wish I had friends..." I muttered and glanced down again. |
The girl notices a girl sitting alone, and goes and sits next to her. She smiles at her, and takes a drink of milk.

Ruby
My eyes widened as someone sat down next to me. I looked up as I saw the same irk who I had noticed before. "H-hi." I said to her, stuttering. |
The girl smiles again, and looks at her. "What's your name?" She asks kindly.

Ruby
I started getting a bit more comfortable talking to a normal person for once. "R-Ruby...What's yours?" I asked her a bit more cheerfully. |
"Val." The girl says, looking around. "Do you know what's going on?" She asks in a more serious tone.

Ruby
"No..I just remember a numbness then...I was in a room...and now I'm here. You have a pretty name by the way." I said to Val. |
Val smiles, "Your name is like my favorite color, red, red rubies."
~Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.~ |
Ruby
"I'm 8..years old, how old are you?" I tilted my head and asked her, wondering. |
"I'm 9 and a half." Val says proudly.
~Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.~ |
Ruby
My eyes widened again "You're almost 10! You're much older than me." I said to her, astonished. |
