I'm unsure if this has been suggested before. If it has, I apologize. What I was thinking was commenting ban. Not much to say about this. The comments a player post that have been reported get reviewed, and if a moderator seems it appropriate then they receive a commenting ban from times up to a day, a week, a month to permanently banned from commenting. It works the same as a regular site ban and won't take up much more of the moderators time. Post your thoughts and constructive criticism below. Negative is just as appreciated as positive. I would love to see something like a mute mask on a player that just disables a player from posting comments, foruming, or chatting in a game. It seems a little strict, but if the action is that inappropriate then I guess they'd deserve it. Support. Ps: the idea above was my idea, but I still support your idea completely. Way too many comments for the moderators to review them all. It's really just not worth it. The comments are filled with spam. Is the plan, then, to ban all those players?

@Recruit The moderators will only be reviewing the ones that have been reported. Think of how many people report players on a daily basis, it'll be roughly the same frequency of reports coming in. They don't need to review and take action straight away, just have it there somewhere and have something they can do about it to maybe prevent future spam posts. -3DThing.

There are millions and millions of comments. If your argument is that only a small amount get reported, so the mods really don't have to do as much, then this idea really isn't effective - there will still be a lot of spam. If your argument is that lots and lots of comments will get reported, so this will be reported, the mods will never catch up. We just need to leave the commentaries alone. They're jacked up enough any way you put it.
