Lately, I've ben noticing a lot of clans named "North Korea", or something of the sort. That made me stop and wonder. You see, creating a military group on Roblox named North Korea doesn't exactly guarantee success. No one in their right mind will join a 50+ member group based on the society of North Korea. That should be obvious. Unless the objectives of the group are to threaten to attack clans until everyone knows they're a fake. You may think that someone in North Korea (The country) is making it out of respect for his country. You would be wrong, assuming that North Koreans would have the money for a computer, or BC, for that matter. If they did, they would have better things to be doing, like pretending to possess weapons of mass destruction. So, I'm a bit confused on the motives of the creators of these various group. Any answers, anyone?

Attention. There have been dozens, possibly even a couple hundred articles about the nonsense with North Korea in the past month. Creating a group and basing it off of them would only give them the attention (and members) that they desire.

People like stirring controversy, which leads to attention. Not that I'm directly stating these people are attention seekers, but it can be taken advantage of to obtain recognition and through the unfamiliarity of others (e.g people who aren't aware of North Korea's activity in the real world.) it can get members..

Money isn't even the issue. There are only 40 established internet connections in NK. Those are top government officials. Citizens aren't allowed to have internet. --I may be abrasive, but I'm honest too. Deal with it.

North Korea has been getting a lot of publicity, especially as "bad guys", which they are. People who want to create powerful groups but can't do it by themselves are attempting to ride off of the publicity wave of the country of North Korea, of course, it'll never be successful, because NK is probably one of the worst countries to live in, and also because the group leader and members are generally highly incompetent. That being said, a lot of people also like to ride on the whole "bad guys" genre, which North Korea possesses.

@ExtremeStormTrooper To be honest I think this thread topic is actually a decent one for debate. While I know what you mean about all the North Korea talk, this isn't just some pointless thread simply looking to get views (Okay maybe the title was a little misleading, but the thread itself I can understand.) @Extreme Making fun of a person's country? You do realize North Korea is a dictator country and as Patriots said, it's also a Communist country. Look at the facts, they deserve to be hated for what they've done. They threaten the United States with nukes, and yes, we have to take that seriously even if Kim Jong Un is bluffing. Go read a book about the Korean War, North Korea, and Communism. Then, you'll understand why it's not making fun on another person's country. People like you show stupidity in C&G.
