Problem: I have always admired that you can wear more than one hat on ROBLOX, however, the specific hair style that I like overlaps with basically every hat. I do not like the partially bald look you get when you only have one hat on (especially since a lot of ROBLOX hats rest on TOP of your head instead of "on" your head) so, I thought a bit on it and came up with a good idea. Solution: I think it would be beneficial to add a hat "layering" system. This would basically mean that you can choose which hat overlaps which. This way, say I have pointy hair and a helmet on, I can choose not to have the pointy hair go through the helmet. This will make it look like I have a hairline but it would not make everything look so messy as if I just threw on a bunch of random hats. So, when I choose to make the helmet layer overlap the hair layer, the hair beyond the helmet would be erased while the part of it attached to my head would be kept. I also think that, because some people like the way hats overlap, we should also have the ability to turn the layering off. This way, if you are going for the "I just threw on a bunch of random hats" look, you can get it. How it could be presented: Naturally, it would be hard to implement on the character screen but what if, there was a tab button right above the body color changer that you could click on to get to the layers? All you would have to do then is click "enable" or "disable" for the layers and drag the item on top of or below of the hat in the order you want. This could work for clothing as well. By taking advantage of the blank areas in a clothing template, one could have an undershirt effect. You could even combine shorts with socks if you wanted to layer pants. All that would need to be done is have multiple categories that you can drop down in the layers tab that would say "Shirts, Pants" and "Hats." Pros: As I previously mentioned, layering would help to clean up the character look. It would also give the user a bit more of a sense of control. Cons: Could become quite cluttered on the character screen or glitch more often. Thank you for listening -iceflare

Truth be told, I am not well versed in it. However, there is evidence that this will work. For instance, you can have a tank top with pants.

I support. I like the idea, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Yes. Just yes. YES. Although, we miht encounter a problem, they did this in Spore, and the hat would float over the hair. If they can fix that great. Perhaps you could manually adjust it upwards/downwards.

I brought this up earlier in 2012 or so, but some people said there was no way. The game would be very laggy and it would make people mad because what if there was a hat that needed to be glitched into to look good? - The world is yours chicho, and everything in it. -
