I think rap is thw worst music ever. Rock is 99999999999999999999999 times better than rap. I mean really , fake drum beat hardly any real intruments is the music?

I do agree that rock is better than rap, but not all of rap is bad. Run D.M.C., Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, and Rage Against the Machine are good and they implement many elements of music, as well as real instruments.

I like classic rock/metal more, though there are some good modern bands out there. My profile pretty much has every band I like on it.

cool yah im more toward 70's-90's Ill take a rock song with a very deep guitar but nothing thats around intence metal. Like that weak will song you posted thats not my kind of rock

Yeah, All That Remains is pretty brutal. I do like the classics too, though (Zeppelin, Sabbath, Beatles, Maiden, Who, Queen, etc.). If you've never listened to them before, check out Dream Theater. They're kind of like a mix beteween Rush, Pink Floyd, Metallica, and Iron Maiden. It's progressive metal at its finest.

yah im into Van Halen and Guns N roses right now, to be honest I dont have a large palet for rock bands, its not that I dont like them I just dont know them, so im trying to expand my rock palet.

Yeah, Van Halen and GN'R are really good (especially their debut records). Check out some of the bands on my profile. Most of them are classic rock/metal bands (with a few modern metal and rock bands). They'll expand your pallette of rock a great deal.

HuangLee, rap is just talking..... your point? And a band even more brutal than All That Remains and All Shall Perish combined is Waking the Cadaver. I don't really like them, but their music is some of the most bone-breaking, skull-smashing, and eyeball-busting stuff out there.

RatM is Rap-Rock. Zack raps, Tom Morello rocks, the others play along. The whole "Modern Rock is all screamo" thing is a stereo type. Modest Mouse, founded in the early 1990s makes music to today with a new single coming out this month, and some of their songs are pretty soft, although some are quite depressing. Whenever You Breathe Out, I Breathe In is an example of both. Then there's Queens Of The Stone Age, strange and unique. Franz Ferdinand is more lighthearted, with the fast guitars and light vocals. The Strokes are point more to the opposite of FF. OK Go is loud guitars and more manly FF vocals. And more can be found.
