Scremo Metal and Rap is fun =). Rap like Beastie Boys. And Scremo Metal like... Death of Seasons-AFI.... Don't get me wrong, I have good lungs and record of my scream is 13 seconds. But thats the only song ever I can't scream. I'm good at screaming =). But Trashy metal is..... Can't really think of any.... Well, Metallica's Frantic I don't really like.... It's Okay.

First of all AFI isn't metal, their a disgrace to metal. Listen to real metal like, Cannibal Corpse, Otep, Dimmu Borgir, Gorgoroth, Red, etc.

Oh, rock, well, the list is the same if you like rock. Except Comeback Kid. It falls into both categories, punk,rock,alternative,and metal. So far, the only music I like that's even remotely metal is Sum 41. Before they turned into a boyband.

"First of all AFI isn't metal, their a disgrace to metal." Thats Basiclly saying Metallica is a disgrace to Trash Metal.... AFI is one of the most successful Scremo-Metal bands ever. Whats amazing, they started punk. Then they did Total Immortal. It was so successful that they wrote Dancing through Sunday. Dancing Through Sunday has one of the most known Punk Solo's in history of punk. The line, "First of all AFI isn't metal," is the whole point of their success to metal. Punk bands, play punk. Not metal. What AFI could do with metal, was amazing fans wanted more. Stop acting like only metal bands can play metal.

I think before this forum goes any where else, we have to have a straight definition of "Thrash" is that we can all agree upon. It seems some people think way different from what other people see it.

Only real Thrash I know of is Metallica but AFI is scattered metal....

AFI is a heavier take on emo. (assuming we can all agree that emo is a genre). Dont get me wrong, I like AFI, but I wouldn't consider them metal if comparing them to Metallica.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, although I don't think Metal is trash. I personally don't prefer Screamo-over the top-ridiculous metal, but I like Metallica and other classic Metal Pioneers. Go Metallica!

I wouldn't really say emo's a genre.... More of a style of playing and techniqes of playing. AFI is Scremo metal and punk. Listen to: Total Immortal, Ceral Wars,(I hate the song.... It has filthy words but it expresses Scremo) Death Of Seasons(Listin to it live in something like.... I Heard a Voice), Dancing through Sunday. Thats what a punk band does with metal.
