I was unaware of the new, and incredibly stupid economy update until just recently. I discovered it through another forum post, and decided to look into it. I was looking through limited items, when I stumbled upon the Double Rainbow hat (http://www.roblox.com/Double-Rainbow-item?id=35246042). I am a very proud owner of the Double Rainbow hat, which used to be owned by over 10,000 people (The exact number was 12,310). The lowest price of this hat was always around R$50-60, which was acceptable since there are so many out there. Here's the predicament: The hat was bought at an extremely low price by a few major investors, and is now being sold at over R$3,000 (As of this post). This is only part of the problem. The update will ruin other cheap hats, gears, and faces, and will eventually move on to others. The economy will be blown to pieces if this doesn't stop, and could essentially kill the catalog section of ROBLOX in general. I have made a commitment to not sell anything at an unfair price, and will not sell anything in general until the economy is fixed, and some other update repeals this one. I can't stand how even stickmasterluke (http://www.roblox.com/Kind-Egg-of-Sharing-item?id=1532395 -- Page two of sales), a ROBLOX admin, is taking part in this. Fantastic, but is this game supposed to be realistic? Not exactly. Plus, it's ruining the trading/item aspect of the game for new players and poorer players.

1) How does this hurt the economy? Its actually creating more trade
2) Being able to buy only one of the same limited is stupid. If you pay for it, you buy it. Thats how it works
3) Its an opportunity for people to make money |
