As a common player, I find chat spam annoying, as others. But it can't be stopped in a game server. Some sort of ignore system should be added into ROBLOX. It would work somewhat like the friend system. Just simply go to the profile of said user to ignore, click some button (With a warning/conformation). And then the user's Private Messages, Chat requests, following privileges,(To you, of course) Trade Requests, Etc, would not be shown. It should also block chat messages from that player in game.
Second, I would suggest a comment rating system, in which you are able to "Like" or "Dislike" comments in the comments section of items and games. In addition to that, the system would also add a "Flag as spam" button, to replace the comment with something such as: "Comment has been flagged as spam" or the classic "Content deleted". This would require at least 5-10 votes as spam. The creator of an item should also be able to manually block or flag comments as spam. ROBLOX moderators and administrators should be able to manually block or flag comments as spam from any items.
As a final suggestion, I would like there to be a "Mute" system for moderators and others able to ban players. The Mute would have the same warnings and lengths as a ban. Constant spamming, inappropriate language and harassment (And some other ROBLOX rules) should qualify as a mute ban. During the mute ban, the same chat effects that users under 13 have, will be the only chat options they have.
