##Introductory paragraphs:##
RoNation reform plan.
Currently, RoNation is in a state of closure, being led by Arcarius. The reason for him keeping the clan was so that RN would not be handed around like a waste, and junk. Too many clans are sold, and from there, live a failure and never get returned for original glory.
The problem for RN is that is has been tossed around a lot more than most clans, and this has led to a halt in activity, all respect has been lot, and it is now a 5500 member clan worth nothing to no one.
But, I have different eyes on the situation. Basketsgobola, with his “fan-base”, started to make the clan active again, but once he gave up on it, everything crumbled. I am here, proposing to you, Arcarius, my plans on how RoNation could become a clan of great power, success, and triumph.
I have thought about, planned, and devised a reformation plan for RN. “Reformation Ruby”.
##The Plan:##
The reformation will be split up into four different stages, each providing vital points on how to bring back RN.
- Activity
- Internet
- External
- Development
**Activity:**
Sadly, over time, any clan that is left to die, will inevitably die. Clans are like human life, without fuel, they will sadly die out. But from experience, I’ve seen that clans can be much difference. They have the ability, with the right intentions, to be brought back from the grave.
Many people would see 5500 inactive members/alts as a hinder, a pain in the neck to do anything with, but I can see this as a boost, put’s me ahead of the game in a sort of sense. A lot of people like “big clans”, people will join big clans. Maybe over time the alts could be exiled, but will have been replaced by new, active members. This is the reason I see this as a gain.
New members will join, activity will slowly increase, but as all things do, time and patience will have to be added into the equation here. New members will not magically join, which is why I am also proposing a recruitment scheme.
The plan is simple, once we have a few new members, who are always looking for new ways to get promotions, the plan will be inset.
A HR can be given the opportunity as “Head of Recruiting”, heard it all before? Yet this time, they will have an important role, something which can be tracked. Members will be able to sign up to the “recruitment scheme”. Not everyone will be able to, and will be limited to spaces, but every week, people on the scheme will have to reach a certain rota of people they have recruited, and report back what they have done to the “Head of Recruiting”. Ways to recruit could be used such as; Recruiting plaza, private messages, advertisements, just to name a few. However they do it, they report back who they have recruited, and all findings go on record. If they meet the criteria, promotions are in order, and will help boost morale and activity of the clan.
I am also planning that the first rank becomes a rank for “Penders”, people who are “In the group”, but not officially deemed as an active, and vital member to the clan. A basic training course will be created to get people past the first rank, varying from Obbies, uniform checks, and learning the few basic ropes.
**Internal:**
The internal section of progress towards an active clan is another vital process. Guide, ranging from promotion guides, to rules for the clan will need to be developed. I deem them a necessary and vital aspect for progression to the clan.
A full list of guides to be done is still being figured out, but I am estimating a range from 5 – 10 guides will need to be wrote.
High Ranks will also need to be resorted. I will not be calling from C&G as a primary source of HRs, as they are known to be unreliable, incompetent, and get bored to easily from the clan. I will primarily be resolving to close friends, and people who I can trust for the first wave of High Ranks to be introduced. Maybe from there C&G’ers who I trust can be given High Rank tests, but at this moment in time, I am still left undecided.
Aside from the more pointed view at HRs, a more wide approach for all ranks as a whole will also need to be sorted. The ranks will need to be recreated to be easier to understand, creating a simple system to follow, but with the complexity that we are deemed as a clan who “know-what-they-are-doing”.
Following from changes, a new uniform, logo and advertisements will be created to help give RN a new name, a good name that people will trust and want to work with.
**External:**
The reputation regarding RN has sadly seen a dramatic decrease. Using trusty sources, my intellectual knowledge, and connections around ROBLOX, I hope to restore faith to this clan within the community. Although many members from the Clans and Guilds will have little faith in the clan, many new robloxians, or even older ones will have never heard of the clan. This is one of the reasons I am sure we can thrive. Manipulating this audience will be easy, they will want a big clan to join, and be active in.
Although this is the easy part, there must come a hard part, convincing people from C&G that the clan is worth something. As I have already noted, I will use connections to help move the clan further forward, and I hope people will keep faith in me and my HRs.
I am also planning on working alongside other groups, creating alliances, and bonds to help form a stronger relationship in the community. I will be talking to Diplomatic leaders of larger, and smaller clans alike to create a real feeling of placement in the community. I want RN to be worth something to people, not just myself. Just to note, I will not be forming alliances with clans that provide no beneficial interest to the future of RN.
**Development:**
A later guide to come will hopefully fully indicate the true intentions I wish to implement in development, but for now I will keep it brief and to the point.
I will work with other developers, builders, scripters and graphical designers to design the all elusive RoEngine (citation needed). Developments such as Training places, forts and other required necessities will be built, as well as new systems, GUI’s, and a slick design. We will not go over the top, and I hope for a neat design that provides no lag, but excellent gameplay. I look forward to hopefully developing this project with others.
##Conclusion:##
To wrap up with, a lot will still need to be done, but I am willing to put my full attention into giving RoNation the glory it once deserved. This clan needs noticing, not the ability to fail.
I am hoping that this guide provides Arcarius with the notation that I am capable of leading RN, as I will also use this guide as a providence, and support to development in the future.
I am looking forward to working with RN in the very near future.
