let's just this things straight:
1: The Beatles does fully desrve a whole game for them selvs
2: Linkin Park have some good songs
3: the don't have to have heavier music in RB or GH, people just think so because till now it have been AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica and soon Van Halen.
Personally i hope for a GH or RB Iron Maiden or Guns N Roses, but a RB Beatles is just pure pwnage =D |

do you guys honestly think that if the Beetles hadn't "invented" rock there would be no rock & roll music? Somebody would have thought it up. Genken, you only mentioned 2 soft songs on RB on 2 games. That means only 1 soft song per game by the way you said it. And I will point out AGAIN sice you guys didn't read my second post well, Linkin Park WAS ONLY AN EXAMPLE! I meant more of heavier types of music like AC DC, Audioslave, Rise Against, Skynard, Korn, that sort of music. Oh, Jaxnc, you spelled dumb wrong. |

Look, the Beatles are legendary. They helped shape rock into the way it is. They deserve a game. Granted, their songs would be easy due to the simplicity of their music, and I personally would prefer an Iron Maiden or Pantera game, but they still deserve a game. And don't tell me that the Beatles only wrote "soft songs". Check out "Helter Skelter" or "Back in the USSR". They were very heavy for their time period. And if you really strive for "heavier music", then you should check out Waking the Cadaver.

And linkin park is more metal sort of. Beatles was more of a classic rock. The reason linkin park doesn't have a Rockband/Guitar Hero, is because Linkin Park has made new songs but The Beatles haven't made a new song is because they broke up. |

I agree with genken. Their songs are amazing. They pretty much DID invent rock, and they came before AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osborne, or any of those other bands. They HELPED to invent it, but the Beatles started it. |

All of you are wrong. The true inventor of Rock and Roll (which spawned almost every other popular genere of music) is Buddy Holly. The Beatles would not exist without him. Every other band would not exist without the beatles. End of story. |

I knew Slash said something about that, but I doubt that a GH: Hendrix will be coming out. Jimi Hendrix was already a playable character in GH: World Tour, and multiple Hendrix song packs were released as downloadable content, so a Hendrix game seems unlikely. |
