Many shields such as nProtect, GameGuard, etc can access information on your computer. They have specific error codes designed if Cheat Engine is open, to close it.
I don't care HOW they do it. But after over half a decade, this is just pathetic. |

It's not hard to hack using programs other than cheat engine either. This will solve nothing. |

@FV; if you read some replies, those other programs used can also be added into the blacklist, and blocked. It can be constantly updated to block new programs as time goes on.

After X amount of programs are blocked, that will cut off most of the exploiters. Cheat Engine alone must make up at least 75-90% of the exploiter base. |

even games like maplestory have incredibly strong/insane anti CE, but they get bypassed too.
CE is kinda unavoidable. |

No, CE is easy to block. I even wrote code to do it.
nProtect, GameGuard, BattlEye, all of those can detect it. ROBLOX can afford this sort of program
My only concern is that because ROBLOX is a creation environment, a lot of actions could be mistaken as hacking. |

ROBLOX won't take code. The code is very simple though. Just check processes for the application name.
No, it is not a permanent fix. But it's better than no fix. And 99.9% of kids wouldn't be able to bypass it. ROBLOX also has no "I Agree" window when you install it, suggesting that they had no terms, and cannot do this. They need to add that. |

I completely agree.
Cheat Engine is the most used program for altering in-game information.
Blacklisting is would be one of the smartest things the Roblox Engineers have ever done. |

I show support but also roblox doesn't need to mess with your programs in question but they can stop outside game objects from having any effect on whats happening inside right? Like any changes not game scripted are revoked because a lot of people ruin games by hacking like they do and also they got rid of that admin hack didn't they? I'm sure that is a lot more complicated than cheat engine so cheat engine shouldn't be so hard to stop. |

Well, to stop hacking its not only way to mess with your programs..
They can code something like that checks open programs if theres cheat engine open then shut down the game for you. But not the whole server only you |

Also blocking cheat engine won't help I think because roblox's 40% is mac user.
And theres 3 different hack programs for mac.So that won't stop mac users.If they going to block cheat engine then they should do same for other programs too |

I support, but the thing is, you are not thinking about other hacking programs; like corescript. hackers can hack -_- they dont just cling to one program man... even if they do blacklist CE, (like i said), they would make another hack/exploit program... |
