Ok I tried the OpenGL Legacy thing, and it rocks! Err, I can't see sparkles anymore, but explosions don't make me lag AT ALL. Cause now they're big red balls with no animation in them... like a big red ball mesh that you can go through. Not transparent, though. So I still don't see the bricks to delete when I delete something. But I'll stick with OpenGL Legacy for a while. Thanks. |

Actually the best solution for me would be to get a new video card. Cause the one I got right now stinks. It fails almost any game's recommanded requirements. It passes the minimum, but not the recommanded. So each time I play a game that makes me lag, I reduce the quality to the minimum, and sometimes it's okay, sometimes it still lags. But I'm happy with OpenGL Legacy. |

It your computer, no matter how much you want to deny it, its your computer. My dads computer is lagless, he has like 2* better computer than mine. If its not your computer get your parents to upgrade your internet.His computer is one he got off of Ebay too. >_>
If want an alternate delete then:
A, Script a new one.
B, Use Roblox Studio - Way better than solo.
The reason they lag, if they really lag is, because unlike any other object in roblox, other than scripts, is that they have so many poperties, some that can be changed and a lot that cannot.

I hate that too. Sometimes noobs delete everything in a game, and that causes so much lag that my game loses connection and sometimes i get sorta glitchy. |

i dont think they are but im 85% agree.
The roblox updates causes lag like along time ago i was playing plane fights alot and the planes didnt laged and now roblox updated and they lag again. |

having a bteer computer is still laggy i have a computer that supports high graphics (not ultra) its not the compu its the game cuz why does blocckland doesnt lags cuz its the game |

hes right the rockets lag one time i was playing ultimate paintball i c 2 ppl in the enmey castle and im tihnking if i kill them i kill all BUTk the riocket hit me i lost 4 points and my team lost |

The new update is now even worst high graphic explosive i did all reduce all of my graphic quality set my all minimum even on roblox studio should i use open gl for it ? |

i agree because i was on an admin game someone exploded me and i got the blue screen of death i got so mad i felt like i could kill that person i did not want to kill him but i did not want to do it because he was an innocent citizen explosions are annoying all on the admin games they are not nice. and all the admin games they me with me the command rocket me then after 10 rocket my character i got the blue screen of death, my computer had lots of lag with the explosions it was annoying me anyway so i left the game with anger, on like on a game i went on it happy then it was the game was full of explosions, did not like it so i left the game in a flash but the Hack as like lol lol, :D like that i do not like explosions on ROBLOX even i got a nuke on one game but then i exploded it then i got error'# all around my screen annoying as anything i encountered before but then i Sold it said in the description it said it might cause lots of error'# you, destroy things. |

What's funny is that this thread posted back in 2009 is still just as valid now in 2015.
No, seriously, try an explosion yourself. If just one isn't bad enough, try the spam command with admin. You WILL crash, if not horribly lag or freeze. |
