This thread was made to help you ROBLOXians that are being threatened or have a current running threat on your computer. So let's begin!
Just to start this off, I'm highly experienced in programming. I love it. It enjoy's me at such a great level, so I do know what I'm doing and talking about to some degree. Lastly before we start, READ THROUGH THE WHOLE SECTION! Don't just see that "It's possible to be hacked" and then stop. Read the whole section, please.
Threats to hack:
As always, feel free to PM me questions or concerns. However, many users on ROBLOX threaten to hack. You may all ask, "Is it possible?" The answer to that is sadly yes. It can be done and is possible. However, this comes to a degree. They could only do this with some source of information from you. Rule number 1... Never click a random link. What many ROBLOXians do is post links to other websites. When you go to this website, it might say "404 not found" or something of the sort. What that did is just somehow notified them via email or text messaging YOUR IP Address. They can't do much with an IP Address. Many threaten to DoS or DDoS [Direct Denial of Service]. That is highly unlikely to happen unless we are dealing with a professional hacker. A DoS is simply a disconnection to your internet through the process of clogging your router's traffic flow. They can send on Malware and Spyware with a IP address.
Malware - Software intended to hurt your computer.
Spyware - Software enabling the attacker to gather information inputted through not just your computer, but your whole IP Address.
Again, don't worry. With just a 2005 antivirus program, you can capture this Trojan and stop it. Those are the most common threats on ROBLOX. Overall, it's not possible at all to 'Hack' someone.
Current threats on your computer:
Again, feel free to PM me questions and concerns. Now if you have a current virus or Trojan on your computer, there are many things you can do. For one, make sure you always have an antivirus software program on your computer. Now, I recommend Avast! It's free, and works great. It has a SandBox feature which enables it to put a detected virus/Trojan in to a enclosed part of your computer so if your downloading a program for example, it will run safely so if it is malicious it won't harm a thing. If you have an AntiVirus program, you're very safe. However if it still is contained on the computer and causing problems, you may restart your computer to a restart point. Basically what this does is restarts EVERYTHING back to a certain date and time. So it's just like you're at that date without the virus. PM me if you need help doing that.
