Ok, I have been playing roblox as long as I can remember, and never had I EVER had such a problem with the censorship setup. I have seen people say damn and seen them say ass, yet when someone asks for cereal in this way, "Can I have some Cereal?" IN A RP GAME, I get "Can I have some ######?" WHY ROBLOX WHY!
Please fix this, I can barley tell what people are saying anymore. People have asked me questions and I have not been able to answer them either because I don't understand their question or they don't understand my answer. so PLEASE fix this for not just me, the guy who I talk too, or any of that, but for ALL of the robloxian community. Thanks ~~ Skullkid169 And please forgive me for using Language that is inappropriate in this message, but it isn't any worse than people using it in games everywhere where people not needing to hear them can see them and also cannot say their name, such as Madsion. Try typing that into the chat and see what happens.

Censors are a good thing, for kids. Kids play this game, and they cant be going around and saying that. It can ruin people's life.
Personally I think censors are great |

Have you possibly ever considered the fact that the censor may be censoring some pretty ridiculous things like "s u c k" and "j e w"? I think that censoring is ok, but when it's taken this god dam far, it starts to get overwhelming and annoying. Also, they already censor the games. It's stupid and they need to just get rid of it. |

The chat filter really is getting super annoying. Even the simplest word "one" is censored. It was fine before in my opinion when just bad/inappropriate words were censored |

I agree, this is a rubbish tool and should be fixed or removed! If they can make a multiplayer game site, they can fix a broken censor! |

And nowadays we are not allowed to say "K", "Censored", "at your place", "5 ^", "It's /c team"... How does that make any sense?! |

Roblox has two lines of censorship to help protect it's users.
The first one is called Safe chat this is a high filter for users under the age of 13 the filter doesn't allow any words in that aren't in a whitelist of words such as hello,goodbye etc of course the list is huge of words that are and aren't allowed.
The second is basic filter,
The filter doesn't allow any words that are blacklisted but allows words that aren't whitelisted so instead of checking if the words you are saying are whitelisted they check to see if they are blacklisted. (It also is very smart and doesn't allow you to bypass it by changing the words around)
To check if you have safe chat go to Settings and look at your age if you can't change it and it has a padlock next to it you have the safe chat there is, unfortunately, no way to change this until you wait until your account is 13+
