We all know that there's a big issue with people copying old games and making misleading thumbnails to get on front page. So here's an idea to reduce places from being copied and getting on front page unfairly.
I know i'm going to get flamed for this, but here's my suggestion. I suggest that the copylock option no longer allows any user to copy others place. Now I know we all have friends on roblox and they may not mind if you have a copy. So here's how it would work. The only way to get a copy of a users place is by sending a place request to them.
A place request will work just like a friend request. You have the option of accepting it or ignoring it. Now I know for a famous person the requests could be annoying, so I came to a conclusion. The owner has the option to not allow any user to send a request. He also have the option of friends only, and best friend only requests.
I know this won't stop false places completely, but it will help decrease. |

although, a lot of copying of games was actually done through exploiting and saving the properties of the game (scripts, bricks etc) with programs, so not sure if this will go very far.

The way I share places with people is just save it to my dropbox and then send them a download link, although this has problems for people that don't know each other well (sending trojans or viruses :P). |

How about it's a list like personal servers? You can allow certain people to grab a copy.
This might not work because people who are on the front page with a game would have a billion requests.

Support 100% now.
But - what about old games that people want to bring back, but the user isn't active? They could never get a classic place or anything...maybe if a user isn't active for 1 year+ the places that are un-copylocked could become free, rather then send a request. |

No Support, the reason people put their place on uncopylock because they're leaving Roblox and don't want their place to die.
It's just the stupid people abusing it. |

@bob3joe Where in any rule book, or even any where officially does it state that, that's the reason for uncopylocked places. Yes the stupid people that are abusing it is out of control. This will will help fix it. I really don't see any logic in why you're not supporting but everyone has their own opinions. |

If someone uncopylocked their place it is automatically free to the public just like models are.
If they didn't want others to use it then they could just keep it copy locked.
Also many of the uncopylocked games are the ones whose owners are inactive or don't care if people use the place. |

@bigbadke12 Thank you for stating the obvious. This is not about whether or not the people who left uncopylocked games cares or not. It's about people lying about games to get to the front page. It's not fair to people who actually work hard to create games and never get popular. This is an idea to prevent this front happening. |

Just ranting about it solves nothing, and also taking away players freedom from using uncopylocked games solves nothing. |

Reporting takes to long, and Noble already said that, that place won't be deleted. I don't even know why you posted that. I'm not ranting, and If you read i'm not taking it away. If you cant see how this can help a lot you clearly didn't read the whole thing.
