Building from the point you said; more ideas are thrown out there, with the current S&I. Which is good. Lets continue down the convergent path of these now. S&I: More ideas are thrown out there, viewed based on last post. This idea: Much, much, much less ideas become popular, and are viewed upon their popularity ranking. Path interim result: we end up with thousands upon thousands of ideas that are never even seen to be given a chance at becoming a popular idea. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~

Look, you have to get rid of "all ideas" to be able to find "good ideas" Path interim result: we end up with thousands upon thousands of ideas that are never even seen to be given a chance at becoming a listened to idea, because there are too many ideas to look over.

Everyone who supported probably read the actual thing. If your going to be a true S&Ier. you should read in interpret the thread's arguments and posts. And not have a favorite side while reading. Anyways, support. Even though I forgot about uservoice, it still was great.

No, you don't need to get rid of all ideas to find good ideas. If you got rid of "all ideas", the "good ideas" would disappear with them. There are a large number of ideas, yes, but you have to look at other points. Looking at sheer numbers accomplishes nothing. It's like holding a few hundred tanks, looking at statistics of a few thousand enemy soldiers, and fleeing before you even see how equipped they are. They could be holding pitchforks, and rather than use the tanks to win it over, you fled to the nearest bunker and pulled out the A-bombs. To clarify that -and then continue with it afterwards-, there are other ways that the moderators can search for ideas. They can search for repetitive words, for example, and come across 2 or 3 pages of extremely similar ideas. But, no. Rather than stop and scout out the enemy, you fled to the nearest safe zone and pushed the trigger to an A-bomb that will completely annihilate the surrounding area. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~

Yes. The mods should need to read the top two or three pages, and their should be a 'support thread' voting system.

It's interesting that most of the people that vote on my suggestion have not said anything on the forum, but just went straight to uservoice, and said their comments there.

Sorry to put this out here but, does it really matter? I mean -- where the mods most frequently respond at... and all. After I directed myself to the site that was mentioned on your post, it has already come to a conclusion that all feedback from particular mods will be received in S&I. So that being said, what difference would it make if you brought Uservoice back on it's feet? It doesn't bring any certainty that once it's online, the mods supervising this forum will move over. Although it might have served some importance to you, you cannot assume that you've changed the way things have worked from your perspective. Even if they go back, who says that they will respond? What if they don't even read the ideas people send it, as so you say is very common in S&I. Then what did you hope to accomplish? The thing about S&I (...and Uservoice) is that we can pay attention to our own theories and beliefs, but we can't create an outcome that will make them become a reality. And it may be true that not all ideas have been given a plausible assumption or a clearly lucid answer from someone who exceeds a popular reputation on ROBLOX, but all of us still created ideas; even if we could say they're "oversuggested". We still gain attention from other users, and we develop reasons that can help us resolve any binding flaws that weren't captured in the creation of our threads. We do this because we feel it's necessary. So TL;DR, these two forums are the same. We should have no obligation to contrast, unless the purpose of each is distinct.
