I did some research, and I found that if anything has a type of problem, people are less likely to buy it/use it even if it has many more good features.
People paly ROBLOX because good > bad.
But ROBLOX could be so much better, if all the problems were sorted first.
Let's say Roblox was much simpler. (All examples)
>10 tix a day
>Dynamic Lighting
>Hats and gears
>comment spam
If those were all the stuff that happened in Roblox, new players and peopel checking Roblox out (le Guests) They would see 'comment spam' and the problem deters them from making an account/buying Builders Club.
So you see what I'm saying?
Roblox needs to deal with all the problems (Comment spam, ODing, ect) before it adds new features.
It will make Roblox a much better place. |

Yes, but you have to remember these are computers.
In real life, we can use common sense to detect if somebody breaks the rules.
In ROBLOX, you either report or it stays. Computers could only detect a dialog or something. |

I agree to everything said here.
I couldnt think of good idea for years.
But roblox is already trying to fight off spammers.
There are some solutions.
-Cannot comment on gear,hats-

There are so many problems with the ROBLOX community, and it's just the people in it.

> WNTS posters all the time
> Exploiters
> Spam/scams
> Fake accounts

These are all problems that we WISH could be fixed, but the only solutions are those that cannot be permanent. We are advancing, and so are the trolls. ROBLOX patches an exploit, hackers find new ones. ROBLOX filters links, trolls and scammers find new ways to input them. ROBLOX increases mod activity in the forum, but it don't stop anyone.
I like what you're going at, surf, you're one of the best S&Iers I know about, but I just don't see the realistic-ness in fixing the major problems with the community.
Perhaps costing tickets to post comments, and, as I suggested, more forum mods to lock topics quicker, but it would never delete the problem completely.
If anyone CAN find a way to remove the problems completely, I would support this beyond imagine.

I agree with WNTS posters and OT thingies.
Fake accounts are ussually called ALT's.
Everyone has one.
But...I agree that someone makes a fake acc of famous person.
But thats not the problem at all.
WNTS cannot be stopped.
They are people that just dont read WNTS.
The major problem for me are:
1-OD'ers
2-Spammers
3-False adverising |

Fake accounts = Someone pretending to be someone else.
Alt = A real, alternate account of you.
And yes, ROBLOX rule breakers are a big problem, but, I don't RP, so I wouldn't see much ODing. Never crossed my mind at the time of post.

Forum trolls I agree with. Not sure about OTers in general.
I also agree with the others, but there will always be people posting against the WNTS.

In my opinion spam is worst, on comments, forums, and in-game.
Many other people complain about online daters, and that is also a problem.
Account theft comes third. Many people claim they get 'hacked' when really I think it is just that their p is easy to guess.
Those are the top three things, and I hope a solution comes by quickly.
Telamon posted back in 2009, "Should commenting cost 1 tix?" and I saw a thread yesterday suggesting users have up to 3 'free comments' before having to pay. This would be excellent because it would prevent spamming repeatedly, and people can still make comments for free.

While social problems such as ODing and spam are a big issue, I'd say that roblox needs to make the site and all content browsing more efficient, and make it much easier for people to build cool things. Technical issues and neglected/unreleased features also need to be addressed more often, I'd say. |
