There are a lot of touchscreen laptops out now, with Windows 8. Get with the time, ROBLOX.
I have a touchscreen laptop, I could upload a video of what happens when I try to use my touchscreen with this game.
I'll just explain it for now.
The camera spins around wildly, with no particular reason. The GUIs, and menu button don't work at all, it deselects and reselects the ROBLOX game window, it's horrible. Not usable.
I would like it to have some sort of touchscreen mode, like minecraft has, or just incorporate it into the existing game. Thank you if you support this. |

I want this because I think my touchscreen is more efficient than my mouse, and I use it for the majority of things I do on the computer. But when I play ROBLOX, I have to remember that ROBLOX doesn't really work with it, and go find a mouse and plug it in.
It's a hassle. |

@GH, Most other games I play have a touchscreen incorporation. It's obviously not for everyone, seeing not EVERYONE has a touchscreen. But at least it works for users who have a touchscreen.
The sims, minecraft, blockland, even horrid flash games are nice to use with a touchscreen.
But in ROBLOX, you can't use one with it at all.
I'm not saying you HAVE to have a touchscreen to play the game, that would be ignorant.
I'm saying they should make the option to use a touchscreen a thing.
It's like saying that because you have an apple computer, you can't use the game. Or that you can't play the game if you're on a desktop. It's a type of computer, it should be acknowledged as one. |

Is the sims 3 complicated? No, of course it isn't.
I play the Sims 3 on a touchscreen. It has hundreds of controls and features.
Also, ROBLOX hasn't made an app for ios. Nope. They would never have an IOS app.

Anyway. I have a keyboard, obviously. I have never run across a game that hasn't worked with touchscreens.
Except this one. All I'm asking is for an efficient panning ability with touch, and able to select GUI's with my touchscreen. And for the mouse to stay where my finger is.
I don't need a moving function, I have a keyboard. I don't know how many touchscreen users would agree with that, but it could be implemented too. Like the Ipad and ipod has, the little stick in the bottom corner. That could be turned on and off for people with tablets and tablet computers.
ROBLOX doesn't have to many controls. I think I would know a little more than you two, I've been here 5 years. |

Sims is a clicking game.
And the iOS app has the onscreen controls, what you're looking for is it just to work by touching the screen, at elast that's what it sounds like.

@king, you're obviously not a touchscreen user, and most likely not even a laptop user.
No, a crappy, useless trackpad is efficient for NOTHING. I obviously use the keyboard, I'm not an idiot. I know what I'm suggesting, I think ROBLOX should incorporate this. There's not really any reason NOT to.
If anyone thinks it's not a good idea, I would like an actual reason.
Fix a problem. That's what I'm asking. I'm not asking to inconvenience people, I just want you to fix a glitch.
It's incredibly ignorant to tell me this is a bad idea. If a mouse and keyboard are best, why did they make an Ipad app? That has NEITHER. I have a mouse, keyboard, and touchscreen. |

I have used laptops before, it's not that bad with some types, but I also never said it's a bad idea, I just don't see it happening within the near future. |
