I have seen a few models that allow you to make these... but they aren't quality. --- I propose ROBLOX makes a new category, books. But instead of having it just as something they create, give users a chance to show their skill in the art of literature. They simply make a kit with instructions on how to get started with your R-Book (instead of E-Book). It acts as a GUI, but is connected to ROBLOX's moderation system. Meaning, your title and all the text you enter in it is submitted for approval upon saving (automatically of course). It also has a function that automatically extracts a texture ID from a decal, for illustrations + cover image. These R-Books have their own category in your inventory... After being moderated, you have the option to A. "user-publish," or B. "market-publish" (similar to self-publishing and having it published by a company). In the catalog, there is another sub-catalog (a little more in depth than just a category), the R-Book Marketplace. >**Please note, just as with all other items, being able to sell (or in this case "publish") R-Books requires BC.** >Also note, R-Books are supported by the Marketplace Service, meaning they can be sold in game. When you user-publish your R-Book, you keep 85% of the profit for each R-Book sold. However, you have set options for what you can sell it for. But when you market-publish your R-Book, you keep about 75% of the profit for each R-Book sold, but also are able to sell it for whatever price you desire. --- This suggestion is a work in progress, and your critiques will help me improve it. So please tell me your thoughts. ~Demetreous

How would it actually work to be read? Similar to a gear(Which I'm assuming based on the mentioning of GUIs), or what? ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~

Moderation may be an issue, however I think this is an interesting idea! Support.

Thank you for all the support, guys! And Jacob, I am not sure how to answer that to be honest... I do not have all the details, just a decent first draft at this point. ~Deme

Thanks for the support guys! @Quest Yes to both of those... In case you didn't know what "Texture ID" meant... it is the official roblox identification for a specific decal, that allows it to be used as a regular image on guis and such... at least my definition for it. ~Deme

@Fire, thats not an issue. There are multiple solutions, but I'll state one that stands out. First off, the textures and stuff would -I presume- have to be already-moderated decal images or something similar. And the words is even easier. There used to be (I presume it still occurs) a scenario, where if you tried to make a filtered word be printed across the screen through the use of a hint, the hint would freeze before showing the word. Discovering this was the result of an experiment back in early '09 when I was trying to make a little JP rip-off game(Cut me some slack, this was around 4 years ago. I was practically just entering middle school and the realm of rational thought. >.>), under a different name and with slightly different attractions. Still, that system existed. I don't know if it still does, but it goes to prove that you can use a script to filter out words in something like a Hint or GUI, the words of these potential books included. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuaZR52cXo<~
