Rather than giving out light, blocks would be able to give out darkness in the same way. It would be like shadows, but the shadows wouldn't be coming from light being blocked, they would be coming out of nothing. Make ROBLOX unique, add Dynamic Darkness. -- I don't know too terribly much about how ROBLOX lighting currently works, but I would assume making this would be as easy as instead of lighting up an area, it would darken it. -DadoMahho

aka, we have the option to make ROBLOX more realistic by using Dynamic Lighting, so why not have the option to make it less realistic and maybe even a bit sci-fi by using Dynamic Darkness?

Wearable, Dynamic Lighting is optional, and so is Dynamic Darkness, if it is ever created.

You can already do this by using Dynamic Lighting and setting them to be whatever color you want the shadow to be, no?

You can already do this. Just change the emitted light to black. Not that complicated. I did it in my game.

Support. And understand, dynamic darkness would not make it 'less realistic'. It would just give users even more control over dynamic lighting.
