One of my friends had his account hacked by a person, who's name shall not be mentioned (PersonA). PersonA tells my friend about a trade for a rare hat, so my friend sends a trade to PersonA. Next thing my friend knows he has been logged out, and his account becomes in possession of PersonA. So, my friend e-m-a-i-l-s [email protected] to get his account back, having proven his identity, but during that time PersonA had his account he had already removed all friends, forced him to leave all groups, and stole his R$ and limiteds. During this time before ROBLOX responded to the e-m-a-i-l I tried to get in contact with ROBLOX administrators as quick as I could through chat or parties, of course I had a hard time getting to them. My friend's account was said to be deleted until he had proven his ownership to the account. The reason my friend could not get his account back quicker was because of a couple lacks in ROBLOX's security which I tend to point out.
When you register you could chose to verify your e-m-a-i-l which my friend did, but when the hacker had his account, he had the p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d to the account and changed and verified the e-m-a-i-l, so if my friend were to get into his account and changed the p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d he would be logged out because of the change e-m-a-i-l sent to PersonA.
The fact that you have to e-m-a-i-l [email protected] to get your hacked account back should not always be necessary, and the fact you can not prove your possession without having purchased Builders Club and sending ROBLOX that information of the P-i-n on the BC card or the last four digits of your c-r-e-d-i-t c-a-r-d.
So I purpose that ROBLOX adds something like, if you registered with an authentic e-m-a-i-l they would send a security code of which only you should know. Or have security questions that only you'd know the answer to. And I do recommend that there should be a previous e-m-a-i-l box to verify that it was your original e-m-a-i-l and you want to transfer it to a different one.
TL;DR: Friend got hacked, hacker ruined his friend list, made him leave groups, deleted until proof of ownership, ROBLOX is working on that. ROBLOX security lacks a little, I suggest security code at first e-m-a-i-l authentication or security questions. Also a previous e-m-a-i-l box when going to change e-m-a-i-l-s. |

Alright, dude that was just rude. How would you like it if PersonA gained full control of your account and messed up all your hard work? At least explain why you said no instead of just posting it. |

How can you agree with someone who gave no explanation in their post. The hacker was able to change my friend's e-m-a-i-l and then changed the p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d. And you can not then change your p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d without having proven ownership. And you can not do that without having bought BC. So, I think a previous e-m-a-i-l or security questions would do the trick to prevent this, or get your account back quicker. |

Nice M3. But I know if I get hacked. My account it linked with an e-m-a-i-l and I have lots of support with John Shedletsky on t-w-i-t-t-t-e-r so I almost have nothing to worry about. |

I agree. I finally got into VAC after days of trying. Then one day this guy hacked into my account, lost all of my groups. I kept hats and clothes and friends, because I noticed early. But, my hard work was lost in all groups, elite and non. This needs to happen to all of the people who are hacked.
