Darkstorm looked at Fisher. "I had a feeling...besides, I would never kill her...I will kill whoever tries to kill her."

Fisher shook his head, "This one is not like you, she is and entity made, not born. You may be evil in it's purest form, but you're not alone, and this one has had centuries to perfect what each of you are capable of."

Darkstorm looked up at him. "Thorn? It's Thorn, isn't it?" He replies.

"Te same cat that 'possessed' Moonfire in the Dark Forest." Fisher's fur bristled.

Darkstorm just simply nods. "Ok let me...go talk to Moonfire..." He says as he walks out of the cave and over towards Moon.

Fisher hobbled out of the Medicine Cat den and sat next to Lightstar. "Will he be alright; knowing that the destiny of our world is in his paws?" Fisher shook his head, "One c'n never be too sure with him." Moonfire was sitting alone towards edge of the camp.

Darkstorm looked at Moonfire at the edge of the camp, and got something he had hidden for the right time. He pawed over to her and sat down next to her. "Hey Moon." he says, giving her a slight nuzzle.

Moonfire remained silent and continued to stare off into space.

Darkstorm soon brought out his present, it was wrapped in leaves. He put it infront of Moonfire. "Moon...I wanted you to have this." He says as he pushes it towards her.

Darkstorm looks at her, tears in his eyes. "The only thing I have left that I have from when we were happy." He says. "I love you Moon, and nothing in the world can ever stop that feeling." He then gets up and slowly begins to walk away.

Moonfire watched him walk away and pawed at the bundle. She clawed it open to see what was inside.

Inside, on top of everything else was a note, written in catscratch. It says: To Moonfire. From Darkstorm. Underneath it was a sword, a curved sword with a red ruby impeded in the hilt. On the blade, in catscratch, it said: Moonfire, the fearless warrior. He made it curved to fit her fighting style she had always used against him when they spared and that she used when she fought. Finally, at the bottom of the pile, was the helmet he had made for her. Now slightly rusted and corroded, it no longer had it's once shiny gleam. The only thing that was left untarnished, was the jewel. The one he had given to her as a gift and put into that helmet just for her, all those moons ago. It glittered and shined in the light of the day. The only thing that was left untouched, unscathed, by time and by test and trial. Darkstorm, in his walk away, stopped just a few foxlengths away from her, watching her open up his gift.

Moonfire wasn't sure of what to do. She looked at the blade from hilt to tip, unsure of what to do. And how had he found the helmet? she thought. Moonfire rewrapped the bundle and dragged it off into the warriors den, of which was utterly empty.

Darkstorm watched her. She hated the gift didn't she? He continued to walk, he went to his tree cave fort thingy, he always went there when he wanted to think. She had no emotions in her face...was their love done?

Moonfire leaped up to her cleft in the warriors den, which was higher up and lined one of the walls. She tucked the bundle into a crack in the wall, she'd figure out what to do with it later. Moonfire stepped outside again. Her voice echoed in Darkstorm's head, "If only he knew what's happened after all this time..."

Darkstorm suddenly got up and went back to camp, he went up to MoonFire. "What...what did I do to you? Why do you blame yourself for me? Why must you be so sad?" he asks, tears now flowing down his face. He was confused and sad and everything. Darkstorm was everything.

Darkstorm shook his head and looked at her. "Moon, two things. One, it is obvious by the way you look and act around me. Two, you have the ability to telepathicly speak to people through their minds, I have told you this before and you never believe me..."

Moonfire's fur bristled, "It's because I never have and never will be able to!" She did her best to bite back her anger, "That's one thing you'll never understand..."
