This will be a thread to show what we have made so far. It will show a bit of the basic plot, a major city, many races, and a battle. This is a literate rpg. Meaning good spelling and grammer are a must. We've been working hard on this stuff, so come and see what we've done. Mind that this is medieval!

The Battle of Tiran

Tiran is under attack by the Chaotic forces. Tiran is a simple city, not known for it's warfare. More for it's literature and libraries.
Name: Tiran
Landmarks: Roads coming in and out from all directions. On the outside of town, statues of the races whose kingdoms and empires border the territory circle the town.
General Appearance: A large town in neutral territory bordered by many major kingdoms and empires. Many shops, bookstores, schools, and a large library. Roads come into the city from all directions.
Importance: A Center of Commerce and Learning.

Races so far (Some may not be in here. I apologize if I missed a few.):
Name: Shaera.
Male/Female/Both: Both.
Life-Span: Approximately 200 Years.
Attributes: Their red eyes, shadowy black flesh, and ability to manipulate their bodies.
General Appearance: About one-and-a-half times the height of an Aller. Their skin is black as shadow. Their eyes, a crimson that can destroy the courage of anyone who looks into them. In their standard form; they have clawed hands and clawed feet as well. They are usually extremely muscular. Even if they take another form; they usually remain fairly pale, and their eyes still retain a hue of red.
History: They have a long history, strewn with the blood of their enemies. They are an extremely advanced and warlike race. From the beginning, they waged war on the other races; and that never changed.
Religion: They worship no god; some even believe that they are gods.
Name: Aller.
Male/Female/Both: Both.
Life-Span: 50-70 years.
Attributes: Are about average in everything. A hardy people. Neutral.
General Appearance: They vary. Usually between 1 and 1.5 metres at full height. The typical human-type race.
History: Pretty uneventful history.
Religion: No religion. (Yet.)
Name: Refean.
Male/Female/Both: Both.
Life-Span: 120-140 years.
Attributes: Breathe underwater, extremely good at swimming, very intelligent. Neutral.
General Appearance: They usually have green or blue skin, gills, and webbed hands and feet.
History: They are extremely peaceful. If they took a side in the war, it could tip the scales.
Religion: Worship the sea, and it's inhabitants.
Name: Scalen.
Male/Female/Both: Both.
Life-Span: 80-100 years.
Attributes: Silent, fast, intelligent. Venom in claws and fangs. Chaotic.
General Appearance: Think Allers, but a bit taller, with snake-like heads, bodies covered in scales, lizard-like feet, clawed hands, and long, scaled, sinuous tails.
History: They have always worked with the Shaera.
Religion: Worship the Shaera.
Name: Scalen Inquisitors.
Male/Female/Both: Female.
Life-Span: 170-190 years.
Attributes: Same as Scalen, and extremely strong. They can also charm men.
General Appearance: Think the typical Scalen, but from the torso down, a long, thick snakelike tail instead of legs. These tails are usually from four to five meters long.
History: Inquisitors are extremely rare. Very few are alive, and they are born about one every five hundred years. They are royalty to their people.
Religion: Same as Scalen.
Name: The Sheklan (Same in Plural)
Male/Female/Both: Both
Life-Span: 150-160 years.
Attributes: Weak in magic but Master warriors and good blacksmiths. Can stand extreme heat and extreme cold. Have Enhanced strength compared to other races. Lawful.
General Appearance: Light blue skin. Scaly hands with claws (Have opposable thumbs) but rest of body is skin. Moderately tall and slightly stocky build. Muscular.
History: Have defeated many races in wars, but are just and respectful of other races and religions. Nearly wiped out 1000 years ago by plague, but have had a major comeback.
Religion: Since the Sheklan can endure extreme cold and extreme heat, they believe they were created in a joint effort of the Ice God Shekara and the Fire God Lanerus. They worship these gods at The Sheklan Ring.

Name: Mal-Arick. (Mal-ARICK)
Age: 23.
Race: Aller/Shaera.
Appearance: A tall Aller, about 1.4 metres, with extremely pale skin and red eyes. Of course, underneath that, he is a Shaera, so he can manipulate his body. He has a slight build, like most Allers, and is quite muscular. Really, if you didn't notice his eyes, which you probably won't due to his usually wearing a long, hooded, black cloak, he would look like a normal Aller.
Bio: A high ranking Shaera, but often disrespected due to his Aller heritage. He is brutally efficient, like all Shaera, but deep inside, has his Aller emotions; compassion, pity, regret, sorrow, and more. He keeps them buried, however. He is extremely intelligent, and is quite a powerful fighter, although his Aller half slightly limits his transformational abilities.
Name: Shearoah. (Shay-ROA)
Age: 21.
Race: Scalen Inquisitor.
Appearance: Tall upper half, with bright green scales. Her claws are quite long, and are secreted with venom, as are her teeth. Her lower half, the long snake part, is quite thick, and a massive eight metres long; the longest for an Inquisitor to date. She has lime-green eyes, and is considered extremely attractive for a Scalen.
Bio: She is Mal-Arick's escort. She is also the closest thing he has to a friend. They had been friends since childhood. She is also the only person who accepts his half-Aller, half-Shaera heritage. She is quite kind, for a Scalen, but will do what it takes to get the job done. |
