((You guys posted a lot when I was offline. C:)) Shea headed toward the forest. Maybe she'd find some more prey so she could keep her energy up. After awhile of walking, she heard the small scuffling sounds of small paws. |

I examined the pine trees close by, checking them for the scent of cats. Although I needed to find others in order to form a clan like those cat spirits had told us to do, I had to keep away any intruders who tried to get near my tunnel home in the mountains. I kept low to the ground, occasionally looking back towards the pathway down to here. |

Shae sniffed out where the prey was hiding. It was a squirrel's scent. She unsheathed her claws at started to stalk it. She leaped into the tree, and landed next to the squirrel. Startled, it ran off. Shae hissed with frustration and chased after it as fast as she could on her three legs. It ran across a slippery trunk over a stream. Shae leaped onto the trunk after the squirrel, but fell into the cold water. |

Phobia couldn't make out a single scent, just the warm air and the pine trees. It was hard to get anything.

Suddenly, I picked up a scent on the wind. A cat was somewhere around here. I followed the scent carefully, moving quickly to find the cat. |

Phobia suddenly sniffed out something. It smelled... well, she didn't have a good smell sense. She looked over the rocks, some shadow seemed to be comming. Then she realized that her pelt could help her blend in, the rocks were her same color. She ws just worried about her paws and maybe her eyespot. She huddled against a rock and began her spying. |

Moving silently through the pine trees, I tracked the scent. Ahead, I could barely see some stones and a white cat with black markings. From here, I also noticed a gray colored cat who looked as if she was hiding from it. Two cats. It would be best to introduce myself. I took a few steps forward before finally deciding to speak out.
"Hello.." I meowed, addressing both of them. |

Phobia snarled to herself. Her stealth plan had failed. Now she had no plan. Attack? Run? For one, she was weak at fighting, and for two, also comming with the weak at fighting, her legs were a bit short. She just dropped the idea and moved onto another conclusion. Make friends.
"Hello..." she said casually, stepping off the rock.

I examined the two cats. Both of them were she-cats. The gray colored one appeared to be a bit angered, as if she was upset that I had saw her from her hiding place. The spotted cat was staring towards me and it wasn't easy to tell what she was thinking.
"Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Shade. Were you two there for the meeting where those strange dead cats gathered cats from around the area to speak to them?" |

She remembered, not long ago, these cats... Original clans... Starclan... Territory... Warrior code...

Good. They had been there.
"I agree with them. Cats are better when they work together instead of apart. It means less bloodshed and cats going hungry." I paused for a moment. I knew what I wanted to say to them, but I felt a bit uncertain. I did not know them well and how trustworthy they are, or if they planned on going off to try and form their own groups. But I thought it was better to be straightforward. Besides, if I was to succeed, I needed to learn how to find cats.
"I am not sure if you agree with them or not, but I plan on starting my own clan to live in the tunnels of the mountains, where bats and mice are plentiful. I wish to invite you both to join me. I understand that this is sudden, and that neither of you know me, but times are going to become hard when groups of cats begin to form and those not in them will have trouble surviving. If you wish to remain on your own or to start your own clans, I understand. But I hope that you will at least consider it."
(You guys don't have to join if you don't want to. I just thought I'd make Shade extend her offer. :P) |

Phobia smiled. She thought about sneaking in the caves freely, as a passtime, and while she was at it hunting, plus she had friends.
