Don't get upset, we all make mistakes, none of us are perfect in any form. Even we made mistakes while trying to help you, regardless of the severity mistakes teach us experience so go on ahead and continue scripting and you will make more unintentional mistakes eventually, examine and learn from them.

There's many ways to start with scripting so, if you want to start by examining free models, I suggest starting with coding minimal enough so you don't have to spend hours lost when you don't understand anything about it. I'd personally just suggest something such as a disappearing brick and then you can create a separate script and take parts of that script into the new script and utilize that to understand how it works. Also, a suggestion is to test what you can learn from analyzing the free m...

Despizer is correct, I would personally suggest you improve your range of skills when it comes to scripting before you consider making a large game, however I don't mean you have to learn extremely advanced concepts just something enough for you to make simple things.

Add inside a localscript inside a tool with a part named handle and you're done. Also, please work on understanding scripting better yourself.

That's good then, just try to translate the scripting into your own interpretation to the best of your ability.

Alternatively, there's a couple "good" youtube video creators in my opinion who offer good tutorials, However it all comes down to using the Roblox Wiki as it's the central resource when it comes to scripting, of course it's not perfect and there are flaws however overall, it's perhaps the best resource in terms of providing lists of all things you're able to use to script.

I appreciate your compliments however, I would consider myself just a rather average scripter when it comes to roblox, I still have plenty of things to work on learning in Lua however otherwise I personally enjoy spending scripting.

Enough already, he's been given solutions, starting an argument over something as simple as this which has already been solved will only serve to provoke potential future negativity between the scripting helper(s) and the topic creator.

If you're referring to building the physical areas of the map, I would suggest making a thread in building helpers. As for the scripting part, try looking up GUI's on the Roblox Wiki to help you understand how to use them better.

The Roblox Wiki is an excellent resource for scripting, I recommend starting with learning simple concepts such as strings and variables and then merging those concepts to improve your scripting skills, I would also suggest using an online translator to translate it into your language, although the translation may be somewhat inaccurate. Here's the link, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=AllTutorials Try to start on your own pace.

Well, to be fair, we all have different ideas of what a "Real Scripter" would be, I would consider anyone who even as a beginner themselves has enough knowledge to teach another person trying to learn more about scripting how to script something in an "accurate and "effective method genuinely a "Real Scripter". Of course, there's limitations.

Scripting is essentially telling the engine to perform a series of task following a pattern of logic. When you begin to understand and interpret this logic, you'll realize that some concepts are easier for you to understand then others will be if you really desire to learn, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=AllTutorials This link might be able to help you understand Rbx.Lua and Lua in general better.

Alright then, how about just making a function that returns numerical values and print them together?. My suggestion to increase your creativity would be to try different kinds of scripting based on what you already know, implement those basic and simple things in more complex and unnecessary ways, then when you discover a combination you enjoy, build off of that and eventually repeat the process.

Sure, One = 1 --This creates a new variable with the stored value of the integer 1 Two = 2 --This creates a new variable with the stored value of the integer 2 print(One+Two) --This prints to the "Output" the stored value of both variables added together because both stored values are numerical. I would suggest finding a subject for scripting that interests you and reading and experimenting with it to learn more about it, I would also suggest not rushing or you might become overwhelmed.
