You may or may not be familiar with falsely advertised, or "fake title games." These are games with a fake thumbnail, that claim to be one thing but are really not. Many people have proposed ideas to stop them.
The current system is to report them to NobleDragon, which is inefficient and its effectiveness is in doubt. Here are 3 ways to end fake title games.
1. **Remove Image Thumbnails**
They do more harm than good. People either use them to disguise the fact that a game is poor quality, or to falsely advertise a game. They should be removed. Videos are fine because it is harder to achieve the same effect as I described with images.
2. **Creator only gets a ticket after 5 minutes**
Fake title games are poor quality and people often leave shortly after they join. To discourage the use of these games, a creator should only get a ticket for the visit if a person stays for 5 minutes. You might say that this will discourage legitimate games, but if it is a good game people will stay for that long. To encourage the production of well made games, every 10 minutes (after the first 5) the creator should get an extra ticket.
3. **Comments cannot be disabled on games**
Disabling comments is one of the main ways people can hide the content of their game. Fake title games often have comments disabled, preventing people from saying that the game is not what it says it is. An added benefit of this is that "Donation Center" games will also be weeded out.
I do not take credit for any of these ideas. I have seen them around, revised them, and compiled them into a single thread.

Actually I think that there should be a reportable option to report games for false titles and advertisments. Then the title will be reverted to the last update and the thumbnail that caused people to join will be removed. |

If you report fake title games, the moderation team may see it as a false report. They aren't necessarily able to investigate it. This would require no moderation, and would stop the problem at the root.

No, because people post offers on many hats, plus they say their opinion, which is what many people want.
For games, no, because it's a way to tell if the game is a fake title one or not.

Aint it much easier just to make a limit to the amount of times your game's name can be changed.
For example: 3 changes per month
That would drastically help with the "Bait and switch" tactic being used.
( The desc. for games can just as easily be used to describe that you updated your game, Compared to "blablablabla v2.0" ) |

Only one problem...RPGs...The ones where you farm for HOURS upon HOURS! Those kinds of games could get alot more money.
(Plus, you could just leave an active alt onto your place. |

People get disconnected after 30 minutes I believe. RPGs are legitimate games, though. Having extra income for people staying longer will encourage the creation of better games.

It's 1 ticket after the first 5, but after that it's every 10. Perhaps you get an extra ticket only up to 60 minutes?
