I think it's time to put Clockwork's Calculator to good use. What if instead of having these numerous forums where most posts can fit into multiple, we have a leveled forum system with just a couple sections in each. This should cut back a ton on spam since generally the spammers will always be low-leveled and thus stuck in the lower forums.
Setup:
Levels 1-10:
Scripting and Building Help
Talk
Scripters
S&I
Levels 11-20:
Scripting and Building Help
Talk
Scripters
S&I
etc...
Others:
International
Clans and Guilds
Off Topic
Game Design
LMaD
I believe that this will align users with people closer related to them. For example, all of the "noobs" would be talking together in the low leveled forums,and all of the more "intelligent" people(probably being a higher level) would be talking in the upper leveled forums. Also, higher leveled players would be able to post in the lower leveled forums. What do you think? All I'm really thinking of is goodbye spam. |

Guess I didn't explain clearly enough. The forums still will be open to EVERYONE. The only difference is that higher leveled players will be able to chat in their own forums away from the level-1 alts that spam the forums today. The only point of this is to remove spam since higher leveled players are less likely to spam. |

That's not cool.
I can see if you can unlock premium forums through posts, but having to use Clockwork's Calculator, which takes into account your KOs, WOs, and other irrelevant things pertaining to the forums? No support. |

No problem. Perhaps the forums could be open to anyone, but there could be like a special forum that you can only look at if you had 10k+ posts. Sure, it would increase the spam, because of the 'get 1000 posts on this thread1!!!1' Kind of thing, but it would still be cool. |

And it's sortof funny to watch the N- Supporters even after restating the suggestion be the lower-leveled people based on my personal ranking system. |
