I am making a game based off of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and I am planning on making a new class: Assassin. This class will be available to VIP's, and it has an unique ability. Unlike the other classes, which weapons have a base damage, the damage for this class is based off of the damage you have sustained. The equation is damage = damage sustained / 5. Most people in the game die at around 150-200 damage, so it will not end up as an overpowered class. It will have moderate knockback, (/1.4,) so it will take a lot of hits to easily kill an enemy. What are you guys thinking? Is this too overpowered?
(As a tip, /1.4 means that the body velocity that sends a person flying is equal to their damage sustained divided by 1.4, which is not a lot. Most weapons have about a /1.2 knockback, and the strongest has a * 100, but it is intended as a one hit kill weapon. The weakest has a /1.5 knockback, but it relies on weapons found on the field.) |
